Runners tend to be an energetic group, who love to constantly be on the go.
So nothing would seem more counterintuitive than recommend they sit around for long periods of time, not moving.
But yoga is great for runners! And it gets more important as they age.
The older you get, the more injury prone you become, so having stronger, looser muscles is definitely a benefit.
You may find that doing yoga for your health and flexibility will lead to a meditative benefit as well.
Sometimes it’s just good to get away from your computer and just do nothing.
There are so many different types of yoga, there’s got to be one that suits you.
