Newlywed Ryan Reynolds is set to run the NY Marathon in honor of his father and fellow Canadian Michael J. Fox, who are both living with Parkinson's AND to raise money for the fight against the debilitating disease.

Perez is correct on the grammar. To say MJF was Ryan's husband, you would have to put a comma between "Canadian" and "Michael". . .

He really is handsome….recently saw an old episode of the X Files which he had a small part and he's REALLY grown into his looks (and gotten veneers). Love him!
This is a truly amazing thing he is doing and so many others that will be running for a cause that day. I immediately donated to his team after I read this. It wasn't much but every little bit counts.
Dude, I totally thought MJF was Ryan's Dad at first! I started typing a text to my boyfriend telling him about this shocking news that I just found out…then I realized that it was just worded really badly. That would be so weird to JUST find out about that father-son relationship.
I didn't read it that way at all that he was MJF son…the word AND between means his father AND fellow Canadian.If he was his father it would say his father,fellow Canadian…..Still it is worded silly…have a nice day!
