NBC To Name New Meet the Press Moderator

NBC’s finally ready to pick Tim Russert’s Meet the Press replacement.

Rumor has it that the peacock network will appoint its Chief White House correspondent, David Gregory, to the post as early as today, Tuesday.

Insiders say the network ‘fears’ that they’d eventually lose the California native if he were denied the ‘prize’ assignment, since Today or NBC Nightly News might not have a lead anchor opening for years.
