According to the National Enquirer, the Dr. Phil show is holding on for dear life with a mad man at its core.
The TV shrink abruptly fired 30 employees, turning his already understaffed show into a “sweatshop.”
“It’s a mess over at Dr. Phil’s,” said a source. “It used to be the premier talk show to work for when he started in 2002, but now it’s a wreck.”
Once staffing 250 employees, the show is now down to 100 and it shows!
“Every season his ratings get lower and lower,” continues the insider. “Last season’s were the worst, and he has no one to blame but himself.”
At his most popular in 2005, Dr. Phil has 7.2 million viewers, but he’s now dragging in only 2.5 million.
It’s only a matter of time before the show canceled and we’d love to see Dr. Phil get excited about HIS life!
