Months after Michael Strahan very publicly (and dramatically) departed Live, Kelly Ripa teased her fans by saying a "big announcement" was coming — which we took to mean she would finally be revealing her new co-host.
While the announcement did in fact have to do with who would be sitting in Strahan's empty seat, it still wasn't exactly the news we were anticipating.
On Wednesday's show, the 45-year-old revealed that FANS would have a chance to be her cohost for the day through the new contest Live With Kelly & You! Oh…
Since Strahan's departure for GMA, Ripa has been hosting Live alongside a rotation of guest stars like Christian Slater, Rob Lowe, Anderson Cooper, and Andy Cohen — but who needs those celebs when you have Live superfan Pam from Indiana!?
(JK, Pam, we're sure you're very charismatic…)
What an opportunity! For all those who think Ripa's job is easy, now you finally have a chance to prove it!
Fans have until September 20 to submit on the Live website — will YOU try your luck at being the next Live cohost?

Underage Sex Tapes, Ann Coulter Jabs, & MORE Scathing Burns From Comedy Central's Roast Of Rob Lowe!
Another year, another celebrity painfully skewered by jokes at Comedy Central's annual roast!
Only it wasn't the roastee who received the bulk of the heat at this year's Roast of Rob Lowe!
On Monday night, the Parks and Recreation alum subjected himself to the comedic barbs from the likes of David Spade, Saturday Night Live's Pete Davidson, Peyton Manning, Jewel, and roast veteran Jeff Ross.
The actor certainly got roasted throughout the night, mostly for the 1988 sex tape he made with a 16-year-old girl — like when roastmaster Spade quipped:
"Rob starred in Austin Powers two 16 years ago. Can you believe that? 16? Or as Rob calls it, ‘18'… Rob has been called a comeback kid… sorry I read that wrong, he came on a kid's back."
While the 52-year-old took plenty of jabs — Davidson claimed doctors described him as "Gonorrhea patient zero" — it was one of Lowe's roasters Ann Coulter who took most of the abuse during the special.
