Everybody's favorite silver fox Anderson Cooper stopped by The Late Show on Friday and had a TON to reveal about Kathy Griffin!!

Anderson and Letterman had a little girl talk chat about the comedienne, ESPECIALLY about her habit of losing her clothes during TV segments!

Amy Poehler stopped by the Late Show last night and found a new super fan. Her segment could have mentioned the Owen Wilson and Zach Galifianakis movie Amy’s rumored to be a part of… but David Letterman just wanted to rave about Parks & Recreation!

He said:

"I got the first season of Parks & Recreation and I gobbled my way right through that, and I thought this is fantastic.”

We understand your enthusiasm, Dave. It's a great show!

Poehler knew Dave’s praise is good for business. She said:

“Wow. We should take [the clip] and just send it out as a screener.”

Later, the enthusiastic duo chatted about hubby Will Arnett and even Baby Bjorns. Amy said people who own them are “real a$$holes.”

Yikes!

We hope Beyoncé didn’t tune in!

You remember the man who gave that a-mazing speech about gay parents in front of the Iowa House of Representatives?? Zach Wahls??

Well he's still pushing forward for marriage equality, and we are SOOO thankful for people like him!!!

And since one the arguments against same-sex marriage is "the sanctity" of the institution, he jokes with David Letterman:

Gays messing up the sanctity of marriage? I think Kim Kardashian's doing an alright job of that herself.

LOL!!! Aww… Kimmy….

But he does make a point!! The "sanctity" case isn't so valid if we're gonna let divorces happen left and right, now is it??

Last night on the Late Show with David Letterman, those rowdy boys from FUN. played their only song megahit We Are Young and David Letterman got his aging a** up on stage and raged' out!

HAH JK!

But that would have amped this performance up a bagillion times.

We honestly can't think of anyone better to rejuvenate Michelle Williams' spirit than Jason Segel.

The two were most recently seen getting their grub on at one of NYC's amazing Mexican restaurants - La Esquina!!

And since Jason had just done an appearance for The Late Show with David Letterman, we know this date must have been soo relaxing.

President Obama proved his comedic chops last April during the White House Correspondents' Association annual dinner, but now Lorne Michaels is offering Mitt Romney the chance to do the same!

The Republican presidential candidate has reportedly been offered a guest spot on Saturday Night Live and "is considering it."

A recent New York Times article revealed that the sketch comedy show's staff was impressed when Romney appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman and delivered the Top Ten list.

An appearance on SNL to poke fun of his image would definitely help him gain traction with voters leaning toward the left who have a hard time relating to billionaires, but could he even handle a sketch? Who knows, but we would LOVE to watch and find out!

Age is just a number for David Letterman because he's turning 65-years-old this Thursday, but still plans on hosting The Late Show for a few more years.

The comedian on the verge of senior citizenship extended his contract with CBS through 2014 recently and Ricky Gervais helped him celebrate his good fortune on Monday night's broadcast by giving him the most practical (and HIGHlarious) age-appropriate gift he could find in New York.
