This is so sad and yet heartwarming at the same time!
Sandra Bullock has donated $5K to help struggling former longtime Beverly Hills Hotel poolside manager, Svend Petersen, leaving the cute message:
"Everything is going to be okay!" — Louis Bullock (my son)
Svend's story is heartbreaking. The 86-year-old is now homeless after realtors took advantage of him when selling his house and left him with the IRS on his back. He owes $71K in taxes and had to sleep in his car or stay in motels at certain points. He even sometimes went days without food.

During his heyday, Svend served celebs like Cary Grant, Marilyn Monroe, and Faye Dunaway, making sure they were comfortable as they lounged by the BHH pool. He became known as the Poolside Prince and Cabana King.
Friends set up a GoFundMe page in his honor on April 3, asking for $5,900 to cover a down payment and first three months rent and food. Sandra's donation almost covered the entire cost, but others have also generously pitched in. So much so, in fact, that the page has now raised $30,619 and counting! Isn't that awesome???
Thank goodness for generous people! We're so happy for Svend!
Remember, don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it!
