Nothing can hold Mariah Carey down!
One of the best-selling female artists of all time is currently enjoying even more success with her residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.
But in a new interview she doesn't shy away from discussing the darker sides of fame.
In fact, there have been times when she's felt incredibly lonely despite her popularity:
"Stardom is a magical yet freakish situation at times. It's a cliché but very true that at times you feel so alone even when you're surrounded by so many people. Trust is not very easy for me at all. I want to be a trusting person but I've been bruised so many times – not to sound woe-is-me about my life. I'm thankful for my fans who make up for the lack of closeness I feel to most people who start out as friends and ultimately take advantage of me. I'm a very loyal person and it takes a lot for me to actually un-friend someone. I'm actually very loyal, to my detriment. Yeah, the past few years have had their ups and downs."
It's true that all the money in the world can't buy genuine loyalty.
Nick Cannon ain't no hater!
As we reported, Mariah Carey is back with Epic Records and will be releasing her new greatest hits album #1 To Infinity next month. In addition, the songstress also has a residency at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas starting next month.
However, the CD features one new song called Infinity that many believe is totally shading her ex-husband!
With lyrics like, "lost the best you ever had," it's hard not to believe that shots were fired!
Yet, how does the America's Got Talent host respond to such allegations?!
With nothing but love and support!
On Wednesday, the former Nickelodeon star posted the following tribute to his baby mama on Instagram:
Mariah Carey is back with Epic Records for her new greatest hits album #1 To Infinity, featuring 18 of her biggest jams in addition to a few new songs!
Though the album cover art created more of a stir than the music, since it featured a photoshopped slimmed down version of the singer. But back to the music…
The 45-year-old's new song Infinity dropped Monday, and it's a pretty clear message that someone "lost the best you ever had." We can't help but think the song is a dig at her ex Nick Cannon!
While the track definitely has that old school Mimi vibe, we're not sure if it will make the cut for the diva's next hits album!
Do U think the song is directed at Nick? Take a listen (below) and decide for yourself!
This is one spouse who isn't willing to dish the dirt on his broken marriage!
The America's Got Talent host is constantly linked to the rumor of writing a tell-all book about his soon-to-be ex-wife, but Mimi can rest easy!
Why? Because it's totally not true!
When asked about the rumors, Nick simply said:
We wonder what Nick has to say about this!?
The pair was spotted getting dinner at Cafe Carlyle in New York on Saturday, so it looks like things are still going strong between the two.
Nick Cannon is one busy man!
On Wednesday night, we met up with Nick at the opening of his The Psych Ward Skate Shop Flagship Store in Los Angeles where he dished on his many projects!
In case you guys didn't know, the 34-year-old also manages Amber Rose and he promises that through his various companies — with ventures in film, TV, and music — there will be some very big projects in the near future.
