Amy Adams and Jessica Chastain may not be in direct competition for an Oscar, but unbeknownst to them, they are definitely in a battle over who has the better hair.
Their glossy red tresses would give Ariel a run for her thingamabobs!
Making an appearance at The Hollywood Reporter Nominees Night in El Lay on Monday, Amy wore a classic black lace dress with a satin bow at the waist and nude Casadei peep-toe pumps.
Her makeup, as usual, was very toned-down, allowing the actress's natural beauty to shine.
Thanks to her AMAZING hair, Amy really stood out, and the lace overlay on her dress kept it from veering into boring territory.
We likey!

It’s like she could flit and fly away!
Amy Adams was looking like a purple people eater award winner at the Oscar Nominees Luncheon in Beverly Hills on Monday.
The actress opted for a flowy, watercolor print J. Mendel dress with a pleated skirt and chunky nude Casadei pumps.
We could have done without the shoes and a different 'do, but the dress is luncheon perfection!
What do U think???

This is so pretty!
Polka-dots just make everything more fun, don't they?
Amy Adams looked absolutely lovely at the Cinema Vanguard Award Ceremony at the 28th Annual Santa Barbara Film Festival on Thursday night.
Dressed in a dotted Jenny Packham dress with pleating at the bust and peplum detail, the 38-year-old was ravishingly retro.
We do kinda wish she'd done something more interesting with her hair, but the outfit is worthy of an A+!
Thoughts???

As if a half-nekkid Emma Stone and druggie chic Kristen Stewart weren't enough, the February issue of W magazine features a veritable who's-who of actors for its "Best Performers" editorial.
We're not complaining, though!
Some of our biggest faves, like Freida Pinto, Amy Adams, Keira Knightley, Kerry Washington, Rebel Wilson, Rachel Weisz and Naomi Watts, make appearances

Nude seems to be quite the trend at the Golden Globes red carpet tonight!
And as if it wasn't already hard enough to tell them apart, it looks like Isla Fisher and Amy Adams both had the same idea for the awards and went with nude, making us do a double-take!
Isla’s Reem Acra gown, however, was much more shimmery, with some added cap-sleeves!
Take a look at Mz. Fisher’s look (above)!!
Hollywood classic with a hint of sparkle! Beautiful!

This is the best Amy Adams could come up with? Girl, this is the Golden Globes!
The Best Supporting Actress nominee for her work in The Master stepped onto the red carpet in a sweetheart neckline Marchesa blush mermaid gown. She finished off the romantic look with a simple diamond bracelet and side swept hair.
It's a bit simple and safe for us, and the mermaid effect is a bit too extreme for her… BUT, she always looks marvelous in blush. It's really her color.
Here's wishing her the best of luck tonight anyway!

It may not be Vogue, but she definitely poses like it is!
Amy Adams looks every bit of a film noir screen siren on the cover of Citizen K’s Fall/Winter issue.
In the very Parisian spread, she wears lots of designers including new Saint Laurent Paris ensembles.
The mix of old Hollywood glam, complete with lace veils, and modernity comes across beautifully in this pretty lengthy spread.
And who doesn't love a little side boob?!
Take a peek at the rest of it (below)!
