We don't know why, but this dude's icy blue stare instantly gives us the creeps… which is probably why he will fit perfectly in True Blood's dark and twisty universe!

Blade Runner‘s Roy Batty and Buffy the Vampire Slayer's original bad ass vampire AKA Rutger Hauer is dusting off his fangs, as he's been chosen to be a regular on True Blood's sixth season!

Rutger will play a mysterious character called Macklyn, a strange man who is somehow connected to Sookeh (Anna Paquin) and Jason (Ryan Kwanten)… eeeee!

It's every vampire lovers crossover dream come true! Just throw in a Robert Pattinson, a Brad Pitt and a David Boreanaz, and we'd be in blood-sucker heaven!

Anna Paquin, who plays the delightful Sookie Stackhouse on True Blood, made her first post-birth appearance in Beverly Hills on Monday.

Our feisty lil' fairy was shopping at Bloomingdale's and GAP when the paps caught a glimpse of her lovely light. And snap snap snap they went!

Now, if you're wondering what her and Vampire Beehl Billith Stephen Moyer's precious twins' names are… she's yet to reveal them. Sigh!

But we kinda hope she named them Team and Eric…

We don't know about you, but after the INSANE finale of True Blood a few weeks back, we think waiting for the sixth season to premiere next summer is going to SUCK!

Just like the show's promotional campaign always says! Ha!

But unfortunately, according to creator and former show runner, Alan Ball, there's going to be LESS of what we're waiting for when Sookie and friends return!

That's right, although every year so far has had 12 episodes, the sixth season is only going to have ten!

But while the economy factors into the decision, it's mostly so Anna Paquin can have her twin babies, due in November!

As he explains:

"We're moving production to January to accommodate her. And there will only be 10 shows next season partly because of Anna and partly because of the economics."

Ugh! Well we can't very well be disappointed because of that, can we?!

Gurl needs time to spend with her babies! No fault there!

Although if there IS going to be a reduced number of episodes, they had EACH better be EXCEPTIONAL!

And by that, we mean Viking Vampire Eric better be naked in EVERY single one!

Season 5 of True Blood ended in wet, sticky success!

A total of 6.3 Million warm-blooded views got their hearts beating over the vampire drama's season finale Sunday night!

Those are some AH-MAZING numbers for a cable show in it's fifth season! Obvi, Bill, Sookie and Eric have some real staying power.

We admit, we got a little worried when True Blood's creator, Alan Ball, announced he's not coming back to the show next season. Howeves, with steady ratings like this we are confident the citizens of Bon Temps will survive just fine without him!

That is… at least the ones that don't get killed off the show!

In this heart-pounding and boner-inducing True Blood season 5 finale sneak peek, Eric, Tara, and Nora magically appear at Sookie's house to ask for her help in saving Pam and Jessica from the authoriteh.

ASkars can magically appear in our pants when he's done fighting the lovers of Lilith.

But, in the meantime, he's just going to have to continue being the hero, all whilst looking hot as hale.

Take a looksie at the extended sneak peek of Sunday's finale (above)! And you might want to rewind it a couple times just to watch Eric and Jason go at it. And oh boy, do we wish it was sexually!!!!

The season finale is on HBO this Sunday! Then we'll have to wait a whole year before we see our favorite fangers on our TV screens again!
