The 25 pounds she lost!
Her secret?

Bethenny Frankel is the original skinnygirl.
But she's also come under criticism that she's too skinny, recently.
So she tweeted:

Despite already changing the label from reading "100% Blue Agave tequila" to simply "premium Blue Agave tequila," a New York couple is suing the company behind Bethenny Frankel's Skinnygirl Margartias for false advertisement.
Their argument against Beam Global concludes that the tequila included in the bottled margarita is "a lower quality and purity tequila by-product called mixto— essentially a mash of tequila and some unknown additives (rarely organic) which may comprise as much as 49% of the final mixed liquor."
As if offering further proof that the alcoholic beverage does not contain the stated premium tequila, their lawyer added, "100% blue agave is not stuff people mix."
That lawyer and lawsuit do recognize that the Beam team removed the "100%" part from the label, but still aren't happy with even the mention of Blue Agave because, according to them, the "entire marketing campaign, both its advertising and labeling, is based on falsehoods."
This legal action is an amended version of a $10 million class action lawsuit against the drink that started over false claims by the manufacturer that Skinnygirl margarita is "all natural" with "no preservatives."
Beam team calls Christopher Rapcinsky and Erin Baker's lawsuit "frivolous" and maintains their innocence, saying:
"Skinnygirl Margarita is made with premium blue agave tequila and meets the highest quality standards. We will defend our case vigorously, and we are fully confident we will prevail."
We're pretty confident they'll prevail too as long as Skinnygirl contains ANY amount of Blue Agave tequila. Do U think this lawsuit stands a chance in court?

Despite the show's knack for causing drama between the women, Alex McCord and Bethenny were pretty much friendly to each other on the show — and we're glad to see that's continuing outside of it as well.
Alex wishes her the best in everything, not commenting much further on the Whole Foods scandal going on.
Simon Van Kempen did have something to say though, but it also seems to give Bethenny the benefit of the doubt:
"For me, there's truth in advertising. If you're upfront about it, there wouldn't be scandal. I don't think she was hiding anything at all, [but] once she sold it off, she lost a little control."
It's nice of him to think it's not her doing, and we don't think it is either, BUT we don't think they changed the formula at all and she had a hand in the marketing regardless of selling it off (and by that we mean creating a brand that's based on it's own "healthiness," which is why she was able to sell it off at all), so as devil's advocate here… it's very possible she was a little in the know before this went down — but just probably couldn't do anything about it because she didn't have the control anymore!
She wasn't the one trying to sell it to Whole Foods, ya know?
At the very end though, this doesn't mean that the hooch isn't delicious OR healthier than other drinks! A lot of things aren't sold in Whole Foods, but if you advertise healthiness, it shouldn't be too hard to land a spot.
Just sayin'!

People are seriously upset with Bethenny Frankel's Skinnygirl Margarita!
Following the news that Whole Foods removed the drink from their shelves because it contains a possibly carcinogenic preservative called sodium benzoate, a California woman has filed a class action lawsuit against the beverage!
Reneta Bonar is suing Skinnygirl's parent company, Beam Global, for making "deceptive statements" on the label, which claims the margarita is "all natural".
Sources say the woman is suing because she can to force Beam to "engage in a corrective advertising campaign" and, of course, pay unspecified damages.
She may have already gotten her wish though. According to the Skinnygirl website, the bottle will replace the "all natural" claim with "natural flavor" instead.
In any case, the company behind Skinnygirl is confident they will prevail in court and released a statement saying:
"In today's litigious society, nothing is surprising. The litigation filed in relation to the labeling of Skinnygirl Margarita is frivolous. We will defend our case vigorously, and we are fully confident we will prevail."
We don't see how this woman deserves any money beyond the $12.99 (if the judge is generous) she paid for the bottle because we're a little baffled by what exactly her "damages" were.
It should be inneresting to hear how this plays out in court!

After Skinnygirl Margarita was pulled from the shelves of Whole Foods, a grocery store known for it's healthy choices, Bethenny Frankel has had some explaining to do!
According to Whole Foods, they "had to stop selling" Bethenny's product because "it contains a preservative that does not meet our quality standards."
It turns out the preservative in question, called sodium benzoate, can become carcinogenice if mixed with other substances!
Although Bethenny let some words fly to the press, she has finally made a formal statement on her website, writing:
"There has been a lot of coverage in the media about my Skinnygirl Margarita cocktail.
We would not sell anything that I don’t personally drink. I’m a natural foods chef and health is a top priority for me and my family. The Skinnygirl Margarita is made with natural ingredients and its label is consistent with U.S. federal regulations, which is why it is carried in stores nationwide and continues to fly off the shelves.
I built my brand on trust and honesty. I don’t take lightly obvious attempts to put my integrity in question. I will always answer your questions and concerns directly and truthfully."
It sounds like she is confident the margarita will continue to sell despite the bad press and isn't making any apologies for any ingredients.
Will U continue to drink Skinnygirl Margarita?

Bethenny Frankel is no stranger to cooking and eating healthy.
Though, the mostly vegetarian mom has decided to raise her daughter Bryn as a vegetarian — a personal choice that she feels like is health conscious regardless of the fact that she herself partakes in meat. She reveals:
'I eat almost everything, but I eat a mostly vegetarian diet. However, I occasionally eat meat if I’m really craving it or if there is literally nothing else around, but I’m fortunate to love vegetables, grains and all things healthy,' she writes, before adding that she still gives the baby dairy products.
'I chose not to have her be vegan because I believe she needs the fat and protein in milk, and sometimes I need her to fill up on organic cheese. Her health comes first. Also, if she didn’t eat so many beans and good proteins, I might change this approach.'
Yeah, our only qualms with this is making sure she's getting what she needs at such a crucial growth period in her life. But we're sure that Bethenny is on top of that!
Hope Bryn is doing well!
