Looks like Brendan Fraser has found a perfect match in this role!
Check out the photos (below) of Fraser performing in the opening night production of Furry Vengeance Elling at Broadway's Ethel Barrymore Theatre in NYC.
We've had mixed feelings about Fraser's career choices over the years, but we're thinking this was the role he was always meant to play!
We're happy for you, Brendan! Good luck, bb!
Are U innerested in seeing Brendan Fraser perform on Broadway?

Ugh! The first one was a real stinko! Why the hell would they make a sequel?!
Sources are confirming that a sequel to Journey To The Center Of The Earth is ready to go into production, but there was a last miute change in the lineup.
Due to "schedule conflicts", Brendan Fraser won't be reprising his role in the flick. Instead, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson will step in to take his place. Based loosely on Jules Verne's The Mysterious Island, the sequel finds The Rock joining up with Sean Anderson, played by Josh Hutcherson…again, to travel to a mysterious island in search of Anderson's grandfather.
Sounds ZzZzzz!
We want to hear more about these "schedule conflicts" keeping Brendan from making money? What could he possibly be doing?
Hmm. Maybe he is getting hair plugs! If ever a person really needed them…

Seriously?
Brendan Fraser will make his Broadway debut in the fall playing the role of Kjell in the Barrymore Theatre's production of Elling.
A drama adapted from the 2001 Norwegian movie, the story is about a pair of mental institution inmates who are released and Fraser's character is described as "a big, shaggy lump of a man who, at 40, is desperate to lose his virginity."
He'll star opposite Jennifer Coolidge and Denis O'Hare in the show, which got pretty good reviews during its London run.
Anything is better than Furry Vengeance!

Director Brad Peyton is making a deal to direct the sequel to Journey to the Center of the Earth, but the original's star Brendan Fraser will not be returning!
New Line and Walden Media are considering making Josh Hutcherson the lead character, who played Brendan Fraser's nephew in the first film, now that Fraser is out.
But does anyone actually want to see a sequel to this??
We don't remember the first one doing especially well — what do U think?

Look at that gigantic gut!
Brendan Fraser looks like he's got himself a baby elephant on board!
We hope there is set of gym clothes in that bag, because that just ain't healthy, Brendan.
The actor was spotted - with his baby to be - in NYC this past weekend.
You have to take care of yourself a little better. Just because the Mummy franchise is dead, doesn't mean you let yourself ago! And again, not healthy.

Hey, any work is good work!
Brooke Shields is set to star alongside Brendan Fraser in the Summit and Participant Media production Furry Vengeance.
The film centers around a real estate agent played by Fraser who incites the mischief of a band of raccoons when he trespasses into their territory. Shields will play Fraser's character's wife.
