Britney Spears' first tour in Australia continues to feel the heat and it's upsetting the pop princess!

After being criticized by the Australian media for lip-syncing (duh!) and reports of fans walking out of Brit Brit's show, her tour promoter quickly came to her defense saying:

"Britney is aware of all this and she’s extremely upset by it. She’s a human being. I’m embarrassed, with such a big international entourage here with Britney, to be part of the Australian media when I see that kind of totally inaccurate reporting.”

We really don't understand all of the fuss. Britney has ALWAYS lipsynched her performances and everyone knows this — and doesn't care! It's about the dancing and the "incredible spectacle" of the show!

Keep it up Australia or you can be sure Britney won't be going down under on her next tour!

Brit Brit reportedly hid out in her Perth hotel room on Saturday after she angered numerous fans at her concert on Friday night for lip-synching!

What did they expect?????

This is Britney we're talking about!

All of Australia rallied against Spears upon landing in Perth last week, criticizing her for charging top $$$$ for a concert she would be lip-synching her way through, and the Aussies were still pissed at Brit after her performance.

One fan who ditched Spears' show early on in the night lamented to reporters, "I want my money back or I want her to sing properly… The ticket cost me $200 and she lip-synched the whole thing."

Fans were also outraged by the lack of large monitors for the cheap seats, complaining, "You couldn't tell if it was Britney or not."

Geesh! This sounds like much ado about nothing to us!

If this is the case, Australia is going to see a lot less American talent coming through their ports of call!

The folks of Australia are looking to pass a "name and shame" law that would require artists to claim ahead of time if they plan on singing live or lip-syncing through their performance. The news of this new system comes as Britney Spears arrives to perform 14 shows for the Aussies while charging upwards of $1500 for a ticket and will not be singing live!

Of course, we all know that she'll probably lip-sync, but folks down under think it is unfair to charge some extreme prices when patrons aren't getting a full "live" show.

Virginia Judge, the Fair Trading Minister and Minister Assisting the Premier on the Arts, said she would much rather people go see local talent than a costly "Mickey Mouse performance" :

"Let's be clear - live means live. If you are spending up to $200 I think you deserve better than a film clip. The NSW Government would be happy to look at options, such as a disclaimer on a ticket which would warn consumers a performance is pre-recorded."

You're missing the point lady - we already know they don't sing live, and we don't care! Brit-Brit's tour promoter down under, Steve Dixon, put it perfectly when responding:

"This is a pop spectacular, this is a showband show. You come for the experience. There is a lot to see about this show, there's nothing like this in the world. Britney Spears will entertain you, that's what people come for. We absolutely give them a show."

And it's true - she does put on quite a show!

But then again, we could see where some people would be unhappy.

We're torn on this one.

BritBrit is currently in Australia as she gets ready to start the Oz leg of her Circus Tour, featuring PEREZ!!!!

Earlier today, Brit was spotted leaving her Perth hotel as she headed to dress rehearsal.

Nice nipples!

The comeback of Britney Spears is as epic as her mental breakdown was. However, there are some that seem to think that she is just teetering on the edge of her sanity and at any moment, she could slip back into her crazy.

Well, if you knew how much it cost her to get back to normal, then maybe you'd think twice before waiting for her downfall.

BritBrit has had to spend $1.32 MILLION in the last 7-months on her lawyers!

The legal team behind her "conservatorship" make a pretty damn good buck, but there are more fees on the way, so they stand to make much more.

Just to give you an idea of what we are talking about Britney gave roughly $280,000 to her legal team to keep Adnan Ghalib, Sam Lutfi and Jon Eardley away from her.

Well worth it, if you ask us!
