Hard-pAArtying Drew Barrymore Misses Her Own Press Junket!

wenn2573928drew.jpg

Drew Barrymore's hard-pAArtying weekend up north for the Toronto Film Festival must have caught up with the budding director!

Barrymore missed the press junket for her new film, Whip It, at the Park Hyatt because she "supposedly… lost her voice."

So unprofessional!

Spies even spotted Drew pAArtying with Jennifer's Body pal Amanda Seyfried a few nights before on the rooftop of the Park Hyatt at Nikki Beach.

Hmmm!

Lost her voice, huh??

Sounds like a hangover!

Avril On Her Split

wenn2203949__opt1.jpg

Looks like someone's ready to be single.

As we mentioned earlier, Avril Lavigne has split from her husband of 3 years, Sum 41 rocker Deryck Whibley.

Now we're getting the confirmation straight from the horse's mouth, via the mother-effing princess' blog.

Here's what she has to say:

Moving forward on a positive note

Deryck and I have been together for 6 and a half years. We have been friends since I was 17, started dating when I was 19, and married when I was 21. I am grateful for our time together, and I am grateful and blessed for our remaining friendship. I admire Deryck and have a great amount of respect for him. He is the most amazing person I know and I love him with all my heart. Deryck and I are separating and moving forward on a positive note.

Thank you to all my family, friends and fans for all your support.

Avril

And there you have it.

We're sure we'll be seeing more of Avril acting like this in the very near future.

R-Patz Found!

dsc00262-copie-1.jpg

Hallelujah!

Although he's been keeping a low profile while filming Eclipse in Vancouver, Robert Pattinson was gracious enough to pose for a photo on the streets of Canadialand this past weekend with a lucky bitch fan.

And luckily, there was NO K-Stew in sight!

If only that were the end of her!!

Stay visible, R-Patz!

That face should never be in hiding!

Stars Boycott Toronto Film Festival Due To Israeli-Palestinian Conflict!

hanoi-jane-72575212.jpg

None are strangers to political controversy!

Jane Fonda, Eve Ensler and Danny Glover will boycott the Toronto International Film Festival due to a program honoring Tel Aviv's 100th anniversary, called City to City.

The program aims to spotlight 10 Israeli films, yet activists have signed their name to a letter aimed at festival officials claiming that Tel Aviv was built on violence, ignoring the "suffering of thousands of former residents and descendants" as countless Palestinian villages were sacrificed.

But, not everyone agrees with this stance!

Oscar-winning documentarian, Rabbi Marvin Hier believes this act is "an attack on the heart and soul of Israel."

He says:

"People who support letters like this are people who do not support a two-state solution. By calling into question the legitimacy of Tel Aviv, they are supporting a one-state solution, which means the destruction of the State of Israel. I applaud the organizers of the festival for celebrating on the 100th anniversary of Tel Aviv. If every city in the Middle East would be as culturally diverse, as open to freedom of expression as Tel Aviv is, then peace would long have come to the Middle East."

We smell backlash!
