However, on Wednesday, the crooner took to Instagram to tell his many followers that his little boy is doing just fine!
Posting an ADORABLE photo of footprints on the beach, the 39-year-old wrote the caption:
"We want to thank you for the love and concern you have shown for our little guy through this difficult time. I'm happy to report that he is home, happy and healthy on what turned out to be a great Canada day. #love #grateful #family"

There's just one problem with that… same sex marriage has been legal in Canada for a decade!
Yep, with the passing of the Civil Marriage Act on July 20, 2005, Canada made same sex marriage legal nationwide ten years before the U.S.!
In fact, gay marriage is legal in a lot of countries — so if you're planning to leave America because of the same sex marriage ruling, you should probably avoid all these countries, too:
