MTV has got us EXCITED! But why, you ask??

The Viacom owned network is bringing Wes Craven’s Scream movies to television!! AH-MAZING!

A one-hour pilot has been ordered and will be based on the franchise! In fact, MTV and Dimension Film are trying to get Wes, who helmed the first Scream back in 1996, to direct the pilot!

As no writer has signed onto the project, we sure hope Kevin Williamson is in on this! He did, afterall, pen the movie scripts!

Assuming all goes well, the adapted TV show could air the summer of 2014.

Think we’ll see any original cast cameos? Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, we’re looking at you!!

Since when has Courteney Cox taken on the role of Wicked Witch of the West?

The Cougar Town actress was caught behaving a bit, erm, off at a recent red carpet event held for Al Gore. When asked if she was looking forward to meeting former Mr. Vice President, she responded bluntly, “I will be when you stop wasting my time and let me go to my event.” Ouch!!

Now before you begin to even question how the eff these two even know each other, let alone well enough to grind butts and peens together, it seems the Glambert moseyed on down to the Scream star's Bootsy Bellows nightclub to kick back and enjoy his second year of the decade that will be known as his 30s…and as you can see (above), it's safe to say the night got a LOT little out of hand!
