Rehab Blabber

heather__opt1.jpg

Isn't it an understood rule amongst peeps at rehab that you're not to talk to people on the 'outside' about what went on 'inside'?

Unfortunately, for Heather Locklear, a fellow rehabber yapped to the press.

The snitch reveals that the former Melrose Place star made a lot of friends with other patients while at the Sierra Tucson rehab facility in Arizona. There was no diva behavior.

She was "totally genuine, down-to-earth and warm."

The source went on to report that the actress kept a daily journal and revealed she's working on a couple of books.

There's also a chance that we'll see Heather in a Western flick. She apparently did a lot of riding to improve her horse handling skills.

Like almost every actress these days, the blonde beauty revealed she wants to do an album.

Noooo!

Stick to what you're good at!!

Her ex-husband, Richie Sambora, who has also battled addiction, reportedly called her daily.

The rehab pal also disclosed that Heather will probably walk down the aisle with current BF Jack Wagner (who was also her Melrose co-star).

How exciting! A Melrose wedding!

Locklear also reportedly has seen the new reality show starring former friend Denise Richards. The rehab gossip said, ”Heather thinks the show is a riot — but only because it makes Denise look like an idiot.”

Agreed!

Olympic Hopeful Tests Dope Positive

swimmer.jpg

U.S. swimmer Jessica Hardy won't get to compete at the Olympics in Beijing.

According to reports, the Southern California native tested positive for a banned substance.

Hardy can pursue appeals with the American Arbitration Association and the Court of Arbitration for Sport.

With just two weeks til Beijing, Hardy could appeal directly to the arbitration court, whose ruling would be final and binding.

Typically, a first-time doping offense results in a two-year ban.

Hardy earned spots on her first Olympic team in her best event, the 100 breast, and the 50 freestyle and 400 free relay.

She was expected to be a medal threat in the 100-meter breaststroke, and to play an important part on the U.S. 400-meter free relay team, and possibly the 400 medley relay.

If she's really innocent she should totally appeal.

Drugs are bad!

They always shatter dreams!

What's She Smoking???

Amy Winehouse enjoys a nice hand-rolled "cigarette" during a wild night out in London on Wednesday.

Hey, she's gotta get her vitamins somehow!

Nice to see Wino's been keeping herself busy "recording" and the whatnot.

Worst Excuse EVER

peaches.jpg

A British paper is claiming that Peaches Geldof's collapse / drug overdose on Sunday was caused by her inadvertently inhaling fumes from hair dye.

Apparently, she forgot to open a window while dyeing her hair.

Ha! How much hair dye did she sniff?!

Do y'all believe that??

Keep in mind that paramedics were called to the scene to revive Peaches after she lost consciousness AND she asked for the incident to be kept secret.

Don't you hate it when people think you might be stupid enough to believe something so obviously full of shit?

Don't Fear, Dr. Phil is Here

mindy.jpg

Surprise!

Some Mindy McCready news that's NOT about jail time!

A report claims that the cracked out country crooner is apparently going back to rehab after trying to "do herself in" with vodka and Ambien late last week.

McCready supposedly became suicidal after getting dumped by her boyfriend and collapsed while on the phone with her mother.

Dr. Phil reportedly suggested to the troubled singer that she head to Arizona for treatment.

Mindy is the doc's new "personal project."

Both parties have declined to comment.

Hey, rehab is better than jail, right?

Actually, we'd prefer prison over Dr. Phil!

Where's The Crack Pipe????

Amy Winehouse's parents pose with a recreation of their daughter at the unveiling of her wax statue at Madame Toussad's in London on Wednesday.

Not very lifelike at all!

Where's the bad skin????

How come we see no track marks????

And if it doesn't come in odor-rama, smelling like bad cheese, then we'd return that wax figure and demand a new one!

Amy's parents claimed she couldn't make it to the unveiling today because she was up late last night working on her new album.

Uh huh. Suuuuure.

Stop being such enablers!

Peaches Geldof is finally speaking about her brush with death this Sunday.

Sir Bob's daughter is said to have suffered a drug overdose, but the socialite is attempting to downplay the reported "incident."

In a statement released today, Geldof's reps say:

"Peaches has made a full recovery from the minor incident reported in today’s papers. After attending last night’s Batman premiere in Leicester Square, she is looking forward to work as usual today.”

Ha!

As if she has a real job besides pAArtying and overdosing!

Peaches Has Drug Overdose!

peachesvideodrugs__opt.jpg

She is heading down the same path as her mother, the late Paula Yates, who died of a drug overdose!

The Sun is reporting that the British equivalent of Paris Hilton, Peaches Geldof, Sir Bob's daughter, suffered a drug overdose on Sunday.

The teenager, who a few months ago was caught buying drugs on video, was given mouth-to-mouth resuscitation and chest compressions by a friend to keep oxygen pumping to her brain.

Emergency crews raced to her flat to find her unconscious. Peached was successfully revived but she refused to go to hospital for fear her rock legend dad would find out.

London Ambulance confirmed its crews attended the scene. A spokeswoman said: “We were called shortly before 4:45pm yesterday (Sunday) to an address in London N1, to reports of a female patient taken ill. We sent an ambulance, a bicycle responder and a fast response car to the scene. Following assessment, the patient did not need hospital treatment.”

Despite her near-death experience, the celebutard was back on the pAArty scene on Monday night.
Peaches attended the London premiere of the Dark Knight.

Nothing gets between her and a red carpet!

Cancelled!

bnl-steven.jpg

As we told you earlier this week, the singer from the '90s band Barenaked Ladies, Steven Page, was arrested in New York last Friday and charged with fourth degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a felony.

The substance is said to be cocaine.

To that, the Barenaked Ladies' manager had said, "We’re confident Steven will be exonerated of the charges. In the meantime it’s business as usual.”

Even their official website had stated, "Steven has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him and the validity of the charges against Steven will be strongly contested. While this is happening, it's business as usual for Barenaked Ladies. We will continue to perform and look forward to heading into the studio later this year to record a new album. "

Well, it seems things aren't looking too good for the singer.

In fact, according to their updated official site now, they've already started to cancel shows.

It says, "Update to our fans on the Disney Music Block Party Shows. Barenaked Ladies Manager Terry McBride announced today that the band has chosen to cancel its appearances at the Disney Music Block Party planned for late August in Long Island."

The group released a kids album earlier this year.

"Members of the band completely support Steven Page,” said McBride, “but we don’t want to put Disney in an awkward position before issues involving Steven’s arrest are resolved.”

So thanks to Page and his reported drug use, now his band is suffering as well.

Time to find a new lead singer!
