We had such high hopes!

Elizabeth Banks could've gotten her hands on some decadent Alexander McQueen for the Met Gala, and it would've been KILLER.

Instead, she chose this gold beaded Versace blazer dress that does nothing for her figure.

Sigh. Has she learned NOTHING from Effie Trinket?!

Funky Brian Atwood heels completed her look, but we weren't liking those either.

Where's the AH-Mazing fashionista we've grown to know and love?!

We've come to have high expectations of Elizabeth Banks, but her White House Correspondents' Dinner has us feeling totes let down.

The silky, soft tan Roland Mouret dress looks a little wrinkly and falls completely flat against her pale skin.

With a simple hairstyle and black accessories, this might not be a fashion disaster, but it's certainly not a showstopper!

We're amazed Elizabeth Banks didn't burst into flames as she walked the red carpet at the CinemaCon awards ceremony in Vegas on Thursday.

Because she was hot, hot, HOT!

The Hunger Games star and recipient of the Award of Excellence in Acting's Roland Mouret dress was exceptionally flattering on her hourglass figure, and she totally KNEW it.

Effie Trinket was working that carpet like nobody's business!

The fashion odds were definitely in her favor! Ha!

Elizabeth Banks is business-chic on the cover of a supplement to Marie Claire's May issue, in a striped Marc Jacobs dress and high ponytail.

So low-key! Where's the pink hair and pin curls?

The black and white theme continued in the spread photos, with the actress getting into the driver's seat in a geometric tank and striped pants before putting on a bright red wool coat.

Minimalism was the name of this game, and we bet Miz Banks was glad to wear something normal before it's time to put on Effie's costumes again.

After Britney, Jennifer, and Elizabeth all dyed their hair a darker hue, it seems like it's officially a trend!

And Reese Witherspoon is just the latest to cross over to the dark side!

The mother of three debuted her dark chocolate locks while walking around Nashville on Easter Sunday with baby Tennessee and we like it! A lot!

The last time we saw Reese go this dark was when she played June Carter Cash in Walk the Line, which makes us wonder if the change is for a new movie or she just wanted a new look??

Whichever the case may be, it certainly brings out a more mature looking Reese!

She's pulled a Britney!

Elizabeth Banks has dyed her famous light golden locks a soft chocolate shade, and it looks great!

The Hunger Games star was spotted rocking the darker color in Beverly Hills last week, dressed down in distressed denim, strappy flats, and Tommy Hilfiger logo tote.

Effie Trinket would probably look down her nose at this totally natural, normal hue, but we think it's a nice change for the 39-year-old actress.

It even makes her look younger!
