Eva Mendes is tired of being compared to fellow Hollywood Latina Jennifer Lopez, because the similarities end in their Latin origins.

Eva says she is much more serious about her career, while J.Lo is just a money-grubbing bitch. Not in those exact words, but pretty close.

The catfight is one!

Eva says J.Lo "manages her career like the head of a big corporation, whereas the only thing I care about is becoming the best actress possible."

You know how it goes in the celebrity world - one of them gets into some sort of exercise or religion and then the whole crowd follows suit.

This year's newest trend? Triathlons of course!

Last month Jennifer Lopez completed a triahtlon in Malibu, albeit under suspicious circumstances.

Now, on Sunday, Matt Damon competed in the running portion of Florida's Escape to Miami, teaming up with his stepfather Jay Jones and family friend Barry Hetherington.

Damon said his Ironman-hopeful brother talked him into the race as a way to get back into shape after gaining weight for the film The Informant. He said he needs to be in peak physical form for an upcoming project. A fourth Bourne, perhaps?

He admitted that he's still got a long way to go.

"I knew I was in trouble when the old guy with the oxygen tank passed me," he said.

When asked if he'd trade up his favorite pastime of boxing for running, Damon said he didn't think so. His stepfather joked that Damon was the "team's weakest link."

Damon came in 27th place of his leg of the race, greeted by wife Luciana Bozán Barroso and the couple's newborn daughter Gia and a couple of fans who were more than a little surprised at Damon's presence. After all, he was a late entry into the race.

It was Edgardo Velez - a 20-year old student at the University of Puerto Rico in Poncé - who took the prize for Escape to Miami.

Maybe next time, Matt!

Opa!

Jennifer Lopez was in Athens, Greece this weekend to perform for her Greek fans.

Well, the concert was a big dud!!!!

Here's Perezcious reader Mr. Black's report on J-Lo's "performance":

Gates were supposed to open at 5:30 pm, they opened at 8:00 pm
People were waiting outside in the rain the whole time
J.Lo started rehearsing at 7:00 while people were still outside the hall
J.Lo got on stage at 9:50 pm (the opening artists were mediocre Greek preformers who sang in total less than 30 mins, meaning another 1 and a half hour of waiting in the hall)
J.Lo sang for only 55 mins!!
Ticket prices were: 60 Euro the cheapest (about $90 for the lamest area in the hall) and the most expensive was 250 Euro (about $365)
A lot of Greek media dissed the event

J.Lo had canceled last minute her mini tour 2 years ago, which included Athens.

Disastrous!

More diva drama in Hollywood!

As we told you earlier….

Jenny from the Block suspiciously completed the Nautica Malibu Triathlon on Sunday after dropping out of her role as a celebrity judge for the season finale of Project Runway because of a "foot injury."

That's funny, we remember making up excuses to get OUT of Physical Education in high school!

It's rumored that the real reason J.Lo abruptly pulled out of Runway is because she was denied a role in an upcoming Weinstein film - the same Weinstein Company that produces the Heidi Klum hosted TV show.

Loves it!

As a result, Klum and husband Seal are said to have pulled out of their roles as guests to Marc Anthony's 40th birthday party in New York on Sunday night.

After running, biking, and swimming for 2 hours and 23 minutes J.Lo miraculously recovered in time to hop on a plane and party to the nines.

Sounds like she might have been using the "Katie Holmes marathon strategy"!

Lopez's rep, Leslie Sloane, explained that, "(Lopez) pulled out (of "Runway") because she had an injury and had to have it rehabbed so she could compete (in the triathlon)," adding, "(Lopez) has no issues with Harvey (Weinstein)."

Uh huh!

Interesting note, J. Lo's trainer said this past weekend that she had NOT injured herself. Now, her publicist is saying that she did get injured.

Someone is lying!

She was suffering from a foot injury????

Jennifer Lopez might have ditched out on the Project Runway finale due to a "foot injury", but that didn't keep her from competing in a triathlon!

Her participation in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon on Sunday raised $127,000 for the Children's Hospital of LA.

That's a good thing!

What's especially crazy is that J. Lo competed in the Malibu triathlon on Sunday morning. Then, immediately after, she hopped on a plane and flew with her husband, Marc Anthony, to celebrate his birthday at a star-studded party in NYC.

Wouldn't you be EXHAUSTED after competing in a triathlon????

We would have had that party another night!

Project Runway insiders snitched to PerezHilton.com that Jennifer Lopez was tapped to be the guest judge in the finale/runway competition on Friday, but just bailed on the show - supposedly blaming her absence on of a foot injury.

Contestant 'mentor' Tim Gunn had to pinch hit for the team and fill in for J. Lo.

We don't understand how a foot injury could keep her from assessing fashion designs!

Unless, J. Lo's foot is somehow connected to her brain activity!

There's some interesting Mariah Carey/Jennifer Lopez chatter making the rounds!

Mimilicious has reportedly dropped Benny Medina as her manager because he's apparently trying to get J. Lo back as a client.

That, and Mariah needs someone to blame for her new album being a bomb!

If it's true, what was Benny thinking?

It's no secret that these two New York divas can't stand each other!
