When a woman is pregnant, she has to make certain sacrifices.

Like ditching her beloved heels for flats!

Jessica Simpson is already in her third trimester with baby #2, which also happens to be the time when those five-inch pumps have to come off!

The mom-to-be recently tweeted a photo of herself (above) wearing bejeweled flip-flops with the caption:

"Practicing walking in flats around my house."

Ha!

We've heard of ladies practicing their walk in high heels, but flats? How much practice can you need to walk in flats?!

And we know she's going to be missing her heels very soon!

But, hey, maybe Jess and Kim Kardashian can practice walking in flats together!

She may have a billion dollar fashion empire, but Jessica Simpson sure doesn't dress the part!

On Wednesday the preggers Fashion Star took her baby bump shopping at Ralph Lauren in Beverly Hills wearing a black hoodie, t-shirt, aqua swat pants and matching New Balance sneakers.

Why? Because she’s pregnant and it’s okay to dress like it!

Take notes, Kim Kardashian.

Jessica Simpson brought the cutest accessory in her entire collection to promote her various clothing lines in North Carolina with Ashlee Simpson this weekend: her adorable daughter Maxwell!

The 11 month old big sister-to-be stole the spotlight from her mommy, who showed off her growing belly in a burgundy dress from the Jessica Simpson Maternity collection, while sitting on the table between autograph signings and flashing her cute pout.

She definitely got it from her mama!

And if we didn't know any better, it looks like Maxwell's 'do was heavily inspired by Auntie Ashlee's stylish bun.

Pregnant-but-not-showing belly!

Kim Kardashian covers Cosmopolitan magazine's April issue looking smokin' in a high-waisted ruched bikini bottom and cropped black cardigan.

The shot was taken just a few days before Kanye announced his baby mama's pregnancy to the world.

No sign of the Kimbryo yet!

Although that bikini bottom IS very Spanx-like, if you know what we mean! Ha!

For the inside shot, she's a bit more covered up in a gauzy cream dress with a plunging v-neckline (of course!) and gold cuffs.

How long will it take until she poses nude a la Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson, Demi Moore, et al for her next cover?!

Kimora Lee Simmons thinks all celebrity "designers" should be kissing her and ex-Russell Simmons' feet because if it weren't for them, they wouldn't know how to create their own fashion empire.

The former supermodel, Baby Phat founder and star of the new reality series Kimora: House of Fab stated in a recent interview:

We know you missed Fashion Star, but don’t worry, it’s back!

NBC announced will premiere Friday, March 8 in the 8 p.m. time slot.

They must be taking tips from Tyra!

The returning mentors will still be Jessica Simpson, Nicole Richie and John Varvatos while Louise Roe plays hostess.

This season, the contestants will be able to launch a multimillion dollar line at Macy’s, Saks Fifth Avenue and Express, but not H&M like the first season.

NBC hopes the new changes and the move from Tuesday to Friday night will bring in more than the 4.8 million viewers that tuned in last season.

We hope they're right!
