Since today is election day and there's no room on the TV schedule, The Voice had to cram two nights of acts into one show on Monday!
Not only that, but the competition show opted to do real-time voting which meant same night eliminations for EIGHT singers!!
After all 20 performers sang, America voted on two to save and then each coach chose one person they wanted to keep. The bad news is, with so many performances, quite a few people had to be sent packing, and The Voice fans on Twitter were NOT prepared for it!
While there were PLENTY of wonderful performances, standouts ALWAYS happen and this week that honor belonged to Billy Gilman as he beautifully performed Roy Orbison's Crying — which just so happened to be featured the night before on The Walking Dead — weird.
Wé McDonald was once again a highlight, though she did stumble a little with Stephanie Mills' Home…
Ch-ch-check out last night's highlights from The Voice and find out who got eliminated to see why fans were so angry on Twitter (below)!
Knockout rounds continued on Tuesday's episode of The Voice, and the contestants delivered such earth-shattering performances that Carson Daly probably needs to check those red chairs for structural damage.
The second night of knockouts treated Miley Cyrus to another performance by her childhood fave singer, who might just be the frontrunner to make it to the final showdown!
We also got to see more awkward insults from Adam Levine using the word "hillbilly," (which Miley was NOT having) and a surprise endorsement for Tim McGraw's cologne!
See the best performances (below) and find out who advanced to the next round!
Another year, another celebrity painfully skewered by jokes at Comedy Central's annual roast!
Only it wasn't the roastee who received the bulk of the heat at this year's Roast of Rob Lowe!
On Monday night, the Parks and Recreation alum subjected himself to the comedic barbs from the likes of David Spade, Saturday Night Live's Pete Davidson, Peyton Manning, Jewel, and roast veteran Jeff Ross.
The actor certainly got roasted throughout the night, mostly for the 1988 sex tape he made with a 16-year-old girl — like when roastmaster Spade quipped:
"Rob starred in Austin Powers two 16 years ago. Can you believe that? 16? Or as Rob calls it, ‘18'… Rob has been called a comeback kid… sorry I read that wrong, he came on a kid's back."
While the 52-year-old took plenty of jabs — Davidson claimed doctors described him as "Gonorrhea patient zero" — it was one of Lowe's roasters Ann Coulter who took most of the abuse during the special.
The conservative political commentator, who was there to roast the Parks and Recreation actor — and plug her new book In Trump We Trust: E Pluribus Awesome! — received by far the worst of the heat from the comedians.
The political pundit admitted she had "no idea" why the special turned into a roast of her, but guesses it was because Comedy Central — in her opinion — isn't funny anymore! She told The Hollywood Reporter:
This is too funny!!!
Though it may not air until Labor Day, Rob Lowe's roast was filmed last night for Comedy Central and it is SO brutal and funny!!
Peyton Manning, David Spade, Jewel, Jimmy Carr, Jeffrey Ross, and more were there to blow up the actor's spot in the Comedy Central Roast of Rob Lowe, and it is too funny to wait until early September to see!!
Ch-ch-check out some of the best one-liners from the show (below), including this gem from Spade:
If you haven't seen Greatest Hits, you're missing some great performances!
The ABC show features famous artists from the '80s, '90s, and '00s paired with contemporary musicians for some new takes on old songs!
While the possibilities are endless, on Thursday night's sophomore episode we already had our biggest duet dreams come true as Meghan Trainor, the Backstreet Boys, Tori Kelly, Jewel, and Hanson all performed!
Not only did we get the classic hits like Everybody from the BSB and MMMBop from the Hanson brothers, but Meghan joined the BSB for I Want It That Way and Tori paired up with Jewel for a duet of You Were Meant For Me!
Ch-ch-check out all the best performances from last night's new show (below) and let us know what two artists, new and old, you want to see join forces!
Everyone was super impressed with how close exes Jewel and Ty Murray remained after divorcing back in 2014.
Considering the two were together for 16 years and share now 4-year-old son Kase — we guess that makes sense!
"It's work. I don't want people to think it's effortless – it's work to do this because you obviously don't get a divorce because things are going well. But it's letting those things live in the past."
But the pair makes a huge effort to keep things amicable for their son, which meant:
