The dad of the teenager who was allegedly attacked by Jodie Foster is responding to her claims that his son is a paparazzo, saying that "he's just a kid who happens to have a nice camera."
LOLz! Okay, this is just getting ridiculous now.
Even though Jodie's people admit that she made physical contact with the teenager, "touching him on the elbow in an attempt to take him aside to talk to him and tell him to stop," the dad is saying that Jodie caused visible damage including "scratches and bruises on his arm."
A spokesperson for the LAPD says, "We are vetting the case. We will be meeting with detectives today."

And the plot thickens!
After a story broke this morning alleging that Jodie Foster attacked and verbally abused a teenage fan of hers, her representative has released this 'alternative' take on what exactly went down.
It says:
"This guy was most definitely a professional paparazzo. He had a large camera bag and 1000mm telephoto lens. He tailed Jodie and followed her all the way from the movie theater to the valet. He crowded her and her two young children and took photos of them the whole time. This guy's behavior was completely inappropriate and the police report is a fabrication of the incident."
Hmm - we have a really hard time believing that Jodie would attack a teenager, so this sounds a little more accurate to us!

Yikes — he caught her in a BAD mood!
Jodie Foster has been accused of battery by a 17-year-old boy after an alleged altercation at The Grove in El Lay!
The boy's father explains:
"Jodie Foster attacked my son at the parking lot at The Grove. Jodie pushed and shoved him leaving scratches and bruises on his arm. My son was at The Grove with his girlfriend and they were going to see a movie. He saw Jodie Foster and is a big fan so went over and took a picture of her.
"She came after him, poked him in the chest and said, 'Do you even have a mother you slime ball?' He didn't mouth back at all and was scared of her. At one point Jodie's son even came over to my son and apologized. Her kids were really embarrassed."
We don't doubt that she told him off, but we do doubt that she beat the kid up!
Perhaps the family is trying to ca$$$h in and Jodie just might have to pay the price?

The National Enquirer is reporting some very interesting, lady-loving news!
Just after the recent report that actress Cherry Jones has split from her longtime girlfriend, fellow actress Sarah Paulson, rumors are circulating that she has moved onto to another hot celebrity: Jodie Foster!
Insiders on their new movie, The Beaver, (insert your own perverted thought here) say that the ladies have really "hit it off".
One source explained: "There was definite chemistry between them when they met and everyone on the set is buzzing that the two make an adorable couple. They both seem incredibly happy."
Could it be that this was the reason for Cherry's split from Sarah?
We wouldn't be surprised!
Update: Sources tells us the Enquirer is very wrong on this one and that Jodie and Jones are definitely NOT dating.

Poor Jodie Foster!
It's been reported that Jodie has been allegedly dumped by Cindy Mort, the woman Jodie has been romantically linked to since she left her girlfriend Cydney Bernard.
Cindy has left Jodie "devastated" by taking up with an old flame, Amanda Demme. Sources close to Jodie say that she is "miserable" and is trying to work through having her heart shattered.
Break-ups are hard, but allow us to provide a silver lining.
This Amanda chick has been reportedly linked to none-other than Lindsay Lohan. That means Cindy is taking LiLo's sloppy seconds.
Let that ease the pain.

Alright, we can make a lot of jokes with this…and we intend to!
Mel Gibson and Jodie Foster are in talks to star in another movie together, this one called Beaver. The story centers around a man who walks around with his hand in a beaver…puppet and treats it like a real, living thing.
Sounds about the right amount of crazy that Mel can handle. It'll be good to see him in his element.
Jodie is in talks to not only erect direct the Beaver project, but also co-star in the flick with Mel, meaning a reunion of the duo since their last screen time together in Maverick almost 15 years ago.
But Beaver will be good for both of them to get into, since neither has had a real strong film project in awhile. And if they jump into Beaver head-first, then perhaps the movie will actually come off the ground. It has been seeing some resistance from being made, despite earlier reports of actors Jim Carey and Steve Carell being interested.
We're certain we would enjoy this kind of movie, along with all the puns we can come up with about it.

Almost 20 years after the film won Best Picture, Anthony Hopkins has agreed to reprise his infamous role as Hannibal Lecter. Unfortunately, Clarice Sterling is a no show. Jodie Foster has opted out to direct Claire Danes in a new film. Terrible idea!
Universal's take on the situation? She's replaceable!
Variety announced that Cate Blanchett is in talks for the role and Ridley Scott is set to direct.
Sounds impressive…but doesn't anyone have ideas for new films?!
