Joel Madden enjoys a nutritious cigarette while hanging out with friends in Larchmont Village, Los Angeles, on Thursday.

The rocker is the lead singer of the band Good Charlotte.

Smoking has been proven to help singers hit high notes and sing very well. It gives voice a beautiful textures.

Doctors recommend you smoke a pack the hour before you go on stage, in case you didn't know that.

Hopefully he's smoking around little Harlow. The second hand smoke is proven to make babies smarter!

Joel Madden is pissed that Star magazine reported that he and Nicole Richie are going to walk down the aisle later this month.

Not true, says he.

And, the Good Charlotte rocker took to his blog to set the record straight!

He says:

"So i feel really stupid even posting this, but i've been getting calls and texts from my family all week asking me why they weren't invited to my wedding. I guess the only answer i could give them was that i didnt know we were having one. So i just found out that star magazine wrote some story about a 2 MILLION dollar wedding we are supposed to be having, and thats where it came from. Sooooo if you were pissed at me for not inviting you or even telling you, dont blame me, theres nothing to worry about. Its just star magazine. How long do you think it will be before they write we called it off, or we broke up? i give them a week or two……"

Not that there's anything wrong with Glendale, but Nicole Richie and Joel Madden are looking to move out!

The pair have been living in the Good Charlotte rocker's house for over a year, but now they're looking to set up their own, new home together. And, they wanna be more centrally located.

Joela nd Nicole were spied house-hunting in Beverly Hills Wednesday.

One option the couple visited, according to a source, was a $1.6 million Beverly Hills house that is described as a Cape Cod mini-estate. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a Jacuzzi tub, pool and a kitchen outfitted with state-of-the-art Viking and Sub-Zero appliances.

Fancy!

Additionally, Joel and brother Benji's estranged dad, who lives in Maryland, is in town this week to spend more time with his sons and his granddaughter.

Having a baby really does bring the family together!

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden's daughter, Harlow, have done just that.

The Simple Life alum has recently gotten closer to her birth mother and, now, her rocker beau has done the same with his dad!

Joel and his twin brother Benji Madden had not spoken to their father, Roger Combs, for over 10 years - since he walked out on the family.

Roger, who's a recovering alcoholic, left his fam when Benji & Joel were high school freshman. He later returned to only leave again for good, this time on Christmas Eve when the two were 16.

Ever since then, the two have changed their last name to their mother's maiden name, Madden, and haven't spoken to their dad since.

That is until the birth of Harlow.

Ever since her birth back in January, Roger says he began receiving text messages from his sons.

AND, now he's ’bout to be fucking things up by talking to the media about it!

Recently, after a Good Charlotte concert in New Jersey, Joel, Nicole, Benji and baby Harlow drove to Bowie, MD to visit Roger.

After holding his granddaughter for the first time, Roger tells In Touch Weekly, "It was a wonderful moment. She's such a beautiful girl. I felt very proud."

And as for Nicole, Roger says he feels she's already part of the family, telling the mag, "She's the sweetest girl anyone in their life could want as a daughter. Nicole's such a loving person and she has a great sense of humor. I've told Joel, 'Don't let this one get away. This one is a keeper for you, son.'"

And Roger says Nicole feels the same way.

He adds, "I was talking to Joel on the phone one day, and she grabbed the phone from him and said, 'Let me talk to him now. I want to talk to my dad.'"

And, taking a page from the Michael Lohan book of parenting and talking to the media, Roger continued talking.

He added about leaving his family behind that "My kids were mad at me, and I don't blame them. We are good today, and that's all that matters."

We love it. Keep on yapping!

Next, he should tell us if Nicole and Joel be getting married soon? What are the details?

We gotta give her props. Nicole Richie definitely is a changed woman!

The first-time mom has toned down her hard-pAArtying ways and embraced being domestic.

Nicole's also been "giving back."

Richie and babydaddy Joel Madden started a foundation for children, and on Thursday the pair hit up the Neighborhood Resource Center in South Central Los Angeles.

It's good that Nicole is good these days but….

We need a new bad girl (besides Amy Winehouse)!

Ever since she made her public debut, little Harlow Madden has kept a very low profile. She's chill like that!

But, now, parents Joel Madden and Nicole Richie are pimping out showing off their little girl in the new issue of Harper's Bazaar.

And they didn't even get paid for these pics!

After weeks apart, Nicole Richie, baby Harlow and poppa Joel Madden have finally been reunited!

The rocker was on tour across the world with his band, Good Charlotte, but on Tuesday he was back with the fam in Los Angeles.

The Richie-Maddens weren't staying put for long, though. The clan - complete with police escort - made its way through LAX airport last night.

Meanwhile, Benji Madden and Paris Hilton stayed behind in London to pAArty it up just a little bit longer together!

It's wedding fever!

A source close to Joel Madden and Nicole Richie has revealed that the two are gonna be walking down the aisle sometime this summer!

The insider also reports that wedding invites are going out next week and that Nicole will have eight bridesmaids. No word if Paris, who's dating Joel's bro Benji, will be one of the lovely ladies.

We hope Nicole still has those boobies for the wedding day. She needs to wear something that will show them off!

You know Harlow is going to look so super cute on mommy and daddy's big day!
