But the bachelorette party was this weekend? What the what, Nicole Richie?

Sources are suggesting that Nicole has plans to don a wedding dress this December and finally wed her baby daddy Joel Madden. The reason for the early bachelorette party was simply because scheduling purposes. (Yeah, because SaMANtha Ronson is sooo busy!)

Anyway, an exact date isn't known and neither is what the bride is wearing. To be fair, the latter is Nicole's fault as she can seem to choose between the millions of options being brought to her by her stylist Simone Harouche.

Futhermore, as to the whereabouts of said nuptials, one option being tossed around is the estate of one Lionel Richie!

Aw! How Father of The Bride! Darling!

P.S. - We think we'll keep our eyes open this weekend, just in case this is a trickedy trick!

Nicole Richie and Joel Madden have added a member to their family…a feline one that is.

Today, Nicole announced through Twitter that her and Joel have adopted a new cat: Tabitha Jones.

Here’s what Nicole had to say about her new family member, who she found crying outside her house:

"She was so skinny and I could tell she was starving. I couldn't resist. I fed her, and she was as happy as Benji Madden in a sorority house. It's been 2 months now, so I think it’s safe to call her mine."

The first time Nicole encountered her new cat, she thought she belonged to a neighbor, so she ignored her, but when Tabitha returned to Nicole’s doorstep a week later, the deal was sealed.

Congrats Nicole! We wish you, Joel, and Tabitha the best!

So says an eyewitness at the club where Joel Madden allegedly cheated.

Sources claimed this week that they had proof Joel had cheated on his girl Nicole Richie while in West Palm Beach last May. However, the DJ from the club he was at has stepped forward to set the record straight. He says all the rumors are totally untrue.

DJ J.R. Hutter of Dr. Feelgoods Rock Bar and Grill says the story was “completely made up" and that there was nothing "shady" about Joel's behavior at the club. In fact, DJ J.R. said Joel couldn't stop talking about his family back home:

“Joel was actually talking about his wife and kids the whole time. He even mentioned he was getting married. He was just trying to make sure everyone was having a good time and ordering the drinks. He wasn’t even drinking himself. He was taking pictures with fans. There was nothing crazy or out of the ordinary… A couple of the cocktail waitresses saw the show the next night and hung out with them backstage, but after they didn’t go on their tour bus. They even went to a barbecue before and later hung out on Drake’s bus."

Ah! Perhaps then the ladies were for Drake? Or maybe even Joel's single brother Benji?

As long as Joel kept it in his pants, we don't care much either way!

Now that she has returned from debuting her fashion lines in Europe, Nicole Richie has some work to do on the home front - like plan her wedding to Joel Madden!

And she'll definitely be walking down the aisle soon!

"It's a big deal," said Nicole of the wedding prep. "I've been on the road. I just got home, so it's really going to be like now that's the time for me to sit down and think about what I want."

But neither of them have any clue what they want on their big day nor have they set a date.

"The same thing as our engagement, we're kind of doing it at our own pace. We have no idea right now," said Joel.
