Man, we thought this Brian Williams thing was kind of an isolated incident, some sort of mistake that got out of hand.
But it looks like embellishment may be a real problem for the NBC Nightly News anchor — or should we say former?

Williams was suspended for six months following the revelation that his story of being shot at while riding in a helicopter during the Iraq War was untrue.
But that wasn't the only measure NBC took. They also launched an inquiry to make sure no other falsehoods would bite their newsman in the butt.

Sadly, this is Jon Stewart's last round in the Daily Show rodeo, and now we know when the final episode will be.
During Monday night's show, Stewart revealed that August 6th will be the last time that we'll see him on our TVs. And for those who go to the show, he even agreed to shower to make the experience that much more memorable.

But no, he won't be wearing overalls. Bummer!

In an insightful new interview with The Guardian, the future-former Comedy Central star opened up about how much the show was leaving him completely dissatisfied. He revealed:
People may not be happy with anyone other than Jon Stewart hosting The Daily Show, but they're particularly uneasy with Trevor Noah right now.
After some of Noah's particularly controversial and unsavory old tweets were unearthed, people are not happy with Comedy Central's choice to replace Jon.

But what does Jon think?

The Daily Show has found its new host!
Ever since Jon Stewart gave his ???? weeks notice, announcing that he would be leaving in 2015, we've been curious who could possibly replace him.

Now we have an answer in the form of Trevor Noah!
One of the biggest names in comedy that you don't yet know, Trevor became a Daily Show contributor in December of last year.
In a statement, Jon congratulated the young comic, saying:
It's so hard to say goodbye!
Jon Stewart has already announced that he will be exiting The Daily Show eventually but it seems like some of his best contributors are leaving before he goes!
One of those correspondents is the amazing Jason Jones who made his final appearance on the show he's been on since 2005 and there were definitely a lot of tears in this episode!

The epic goodbye interview happened this past Thursday and it was bitter-sweet to witness Jon and Jason rehash some of their most favorite moments on The Daily Show and how key Jason has been for the show these past almost ten years.
And Jon was definitely getting a little sappy during the segment. We could tell when he told Jason:
"Nothing makes my job easier than knowing there is someone there who I can always go to, and always count on who's going to deliver the funny, the smart, the everything. You were always that dude."
Aww! That's so sweet!
Jason and his wife Samantha Bee are both taking their leave to head to another channel for a sitcom, but they're will always be remembered as a key component of this show during its absolute prime!
