It'll be good to have him back!
But the good news is that Stephen Colbert is only a few weeks away from his Late Show debut, and with that he's slowly starting to ramp up his ad campaign!
That means only good news for us as we'll be getting a lot more Colbert videos showing up online over the next month!
Though these first few promos are short and sweet, they give us exactly what we need and remind us why we missed him so much!
Not only is the 51-year-old funnyman ready to go with his stylin' trapper-keeper, but he performs a magic trick, and gets Mitt Romney to make a great cameo!
Ch-ch-check out all three promos for The Late Show With Stephen Colbert as we wait in anticipation for September 8, when it premieres on CBS!
And what a send off it'll be!
Comedian and late night funny man Jon Stewart will be wrapping up his incredible run with the Daily Show on August 6, and his final episode is going to include a ton of comedic relief, because he has announced that he's picked his three final guests!
For the show, which will be 50 minutes long as opposed to Stewart's typical 30-minute time slot (to allow for a few fun surprises!), Stewart confirmed that his guests will be
Some fans of Comedy Central's fake news show were unhappy with the choice from the beginning, and now more may join them.
During Wednesday's Television Critics Association press tour, Noah was asked about how the show would change when he took over.
The South African comic was surprisingly candid about his plans, saying he was going to switch it up quite a bit.
And his first surprising mandate? Less coverage of Fox News! He explained:
Last night, Tom Cruise stopped by The Daily Show to help promote his newest installment in the Mission: Impossible franchise, Mission: Impossible - Rogue Nation!
The movie hasn't even hit theaters yet — it opens Friday — but that didn't stop the megastar from dropping some mega news!
Cruise said while talking to Jon Stewart:
He's at it again!
Remember that time Mike Huckabee DIDN'T say something insane or controversial? That's okay, we don't either! LOLz!
Last night on The Daily Show, Jon Stewart responded to some of Huckabee's recent controversial statements when he said of President Obama's nuclear deal with Iran that the Obama was essentially marching the Israelis to "the door of the oven."
Stewart gave the appropriate response of cringes and loud noises without actually saying any words in response to this asinine statement. Then, Stewart played more recent comments by Huckabee that included standing by what he said, comparing the IRS to the Gestapo, and making anti-transgender statements — and Stewart continued to be outraged without words.
A great point was brought up during the clips in stating that there's a Donald Trump effect that's possibly causing candidates to say outrageous things to gain attention.
At the end of the day, when someone is that ignorant, what else is there to do than groan and do your best not to yell profane things. We applaud you Stewart, you're truly more patient than we are!
Ch-ch-check out the HIGHlarious video (below) to see how moronic Huckabee actually is and how Stewart handles himself under extreme frustration!
It sounds like Jon Stewart really wants to go out with a bang! A really really really BIG bang!!!
Over the past few weeks, the host of The Daily Show has not hidden his excitement over Donald Trump's presidential campaign, mainly because he keeps reminding us all that he's an awful human being!
Well with Jon's final show rapidly approaching, it sounds like the he's reaching out to presidential candidate in hopes of landing him for one of the last episode!
In a recent interview, Trump claimed:
We can't believe he's leaving either!
Aside from discussing business and politics, mainly focusing on the Veterans Affairs, the Commander in Chief talked a bit about Stewart leaving The Daily Show and joked:
"I can't believe you're leaving before me. In fact, I'm issuing a new executive order that Jon Stewart cannot leave the show."
You can check out the whole interview (below) by starting from the beginning or jump to around the 2:20 minute mark:
