We've just gotten word that newlyweds Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett have been to the doctor today, where they learned the sex of their first child!

Kendra hopped right on her blog to tell everyone the big news, of course.

She writes:

“Hank and I are having a baby boy!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHH!!!!!! …Today is certainly always going to be one of the most memorable days of my life! Whether this little guy is a jock or not, he’s definitely going to be a mama’s boy. And, there's no doubt he’s gonna be a handsome one…just look at his dad! Christmas Day and dirty diapers can't come soon enough ”

Congrats to you both! We just hope you told your Momma before blogging. Remember the last time you made a huge announcement without telling her first? That didn't go to well for you.

Marriage, a baby AND a career?!

According to Broadcasting & Cable, the season finale of Kendra, which featured the Playboy alum getting hitched to football player Hank Baskett at the Playboy mansion, scored huge for the E! network.

The reality show garnered 2.1 million total viewers with a 1.7 household rating, the highest first-season finale since the Anna Nicole Show in 2002.

Kendra's wedding episode was also the most watched show of the night among adults 18-34 (2.0 rating) and women 18-34 (2.99).

Congrats, bb!!!

We wonder if there'll be cameras in the delivery room?!

For someone who has two reality shows under her belt at 23, we hardly think there's a need to know more, but…

Former Girl Next Door Kendra Wilkinson is writing a memoir!

"I feel like the luckiest girl in the world," says Kendra. "I have a husband I adore, a baby on the way, and now my memoir is going to be published!"

We wonder if we'll get any deets about Hef's peen!

The upcoming gift to literature will detail the Playmate's childhood, her time at the Mansion and newlywed life with NFL player Hank Baskett.

Sounds more like an essay than a whole book!

Uh oh!

Kendra Wilkinson might be eating her words soon.  The reality TV star recently dissed the Gosselins and their hit TV series,Jon and Kate: Plus 8, saying that, "I watched it back when it was good and they weren't all Hollywood.  I feel bad for the kids." 

She goes on to say that she would never let her child on TV, stating that it "will all be private."

Those are some strong words for a woman who just signed on to do a second season of her own TV show, Kendra, with the focus on the new baby. In fact, there is going to be an entire special episode completely centered on the birth of the baby this December.

Of course, we wouldn't expect someone who sold her wedding photos for $120,000 to keep her baby off-camera when a nice big check is offered to her.

Things have been going well for Kendra Wilkinson lately.

Marriage, baby, and - now - her reality series, Kendra, has been picked up by E! for a second season of 12 more episodes. The show has enjoyed noteworthy success - its premiere in June was the largest for the network since The Anna Nicole Show back in 2002.  The show currently averages a healthy 2 million viewers, with the audience-drawing wedding episode still yet to come.

As this first season has focused on her relationship with Philadelphia Eagles wide reciever Hank Baskett, sources say the second season will focus on their marriage and life as new parents.

Duh!

Two specials will air in December, the first when the baby is born, and the second when Kendra moves to New Jersey to live with Baskett.

The nuptials of ex-Playboy playmate Kendra Wilkinson and football star Hank Baskett were this past Saturday, and Us Weekly has the first wedding photo, for which they way overpayed!

Kendra exclaimed that she was happy at how "beautiful" the ceremony was, while Hank confessed his eyes were only for his bride: "She looked so beautiful, I couldn't take my eyes off her."

And what of Hef you ask? Well, it is reported that the old big man himself got a little misty eyed during the ceremony, but he got a chance to cut-a-rug with his favorite giggling gal.

"It was a spectacular day, filled with emotion," he says. "Her first dance was with the groom; the second, with me."
