While we already know that Ke$ha takes helping animals seriously, we weren't surprised when we learned that she teamed up with the Humane Society of the United States to speak up for animals!
In the clip (above), the pop princess HIGHlights the fact that congress is considering passing bills on animal fighting, egg-laying hens, laboratory chimpanzees and walking horses, so because it's important to help animals stay as safe as they can… the Die Young songstress wants U to do your part.

Ke$ha was named the Humane Society International's first global ambassador in 2011.
She has fought against lion hunting, shark finning, street dog abuse, seal slaughter and animal testing.
Ke$ha said:
"If you follow my music, you know I'm a bit of a jackass. But this is one part of my life I take really seriously. Helping animals has always been my goal."
Because of her unwavering commitment to animal welfare Ke$ha will receive the prestigious Wyler Award at the Humane Society of the United States Genesis Awards benefit this year!
Ke$ha is a total animal! And we mean that in the best way possible!
She's the global ambassador of the Humane Society of the United States and she's also going to be receiving a very prestigious award!
The animal lovin' lady is gonna get the Wyler Award at the 2013 Genesis Awards Benefit Gala!

After the Puppy Bowl and Super Bowl aired this past weekend, the folks at Conan decided to give Puppy Conan another crack at hosting the show.
