The reality start turned author has just landed her next deal after the success of her first novel, L.A. Candy!

We've heard that Lauren Conrad has grabbed a huge 3-book deal with HarperCollins, and is currently prepping a trilogy to unleash on the masses!

The next one up is called The Fame Game, and features a familiar face if you've read her first book:

The Hills alum's upcoming trilogy is set in the reality TV universe, and features Madison Parker, an ambitious, ruthless character from the L.A. Candy series who's ready to become a star in her own right. In her way? Backstabbing family friends, dogged paparazzi and one media scandal after the next!

Sounds like a page-turner to us!

That'd be Chelsea Kane!

Sources have learned that the Dancing With the Stars blondie has been doing a different kind of tango recently with former Laguna Beach star - and former lover of Lauren Conrad's - Stephen Colletti.

The duo were seen getting cozy as of last week, as they were spotted "embracing each other "at the after party following Dancing with the Stars. An insider at the party said the duo looked " definitely into each other,” and admitted they kissed at least three times.

Of course, if you don't want to trust the gossip, then how about Chelsea's own tweets?! Just a few days ago, she posted this message out about Stephen:

“My apartment is appliance-less. Opened my door to a handsome @Stephencolletti standing there with a brand new microwave. #thelittlethings”

Uh-oh! You know things are serious when the guy starts buying you jewelry small appliances!

We hope you weren't still attached to him, L.C., cause it sounds like he has more than moved on!

Last week, Lauren Conrad lashed out at MTV for passing on her reality show.

Now, Conrad's Hills co-star Stephanie Pratt has spoken up on the subject:

"I was pretty shocked. I think it's such an inspirational show that people really get to see that dreams come true. I was really shocked. I thought it would have been great for kids to watch."

Would it have been so inspirational? Guess we'll never know!

Seems like LC and MTV are no longer on good terms.

After MTV announced on Friday that they passed on her reality show, Lauren Conrad has responded, lashing out at the network.

In response to MTV's Head of Programming saying that the show "just didn't feel like a perfect fit for us now," Lauren said:

"We sold a show to MTV, filmed it and are really proud of the final result. MTV felt the subject matter was too high brow for their audience and offered me the opportunity to change the show by incorporating more of my personal life. We agreed going into the project that this show would be an aspirational one, focusing on my career and my goals and not my personal relationships. We delivered the show that we sold and are sorry MTV didn’t feel their viewers were savvy enough to appreciate it."

Ouch! LC clearly thinks she's too good for MTV!

Aw, too bad LC!

MTV has decided to pass on Lauren Conrad's reality series.

The show, which already shot a pilot, was set to follow LC as she works on her burgeoning fashion line.

The Head of MTV Programming explained why they chose to pass on the series:

"We decided not to go ahead with the show. She did do a pilot. There were talks about whether we could somehow manage to put together a special based on that footage but that’s also a big question mark based on her interest in that and the finances…It was a great attempt but it just didn’t feel like a perfect fit for us now. We love her! We would love her on our network!"

Sounds like MTV thought her show was too boring - AKA not as drama-heavy as Teen Mom and not as salacious as Jersey Shore.

Oh well. There's always next time, LC.

Nothing like rushing a marriage to keep your name in the press!

Sitting with curlers in her hair, Heidi Montag revealed to Sydney's 2Day FM radio station in Australia that she and Spencer Pratt are getting married today, Sunday.

Even though the couple has been married before and this ceremony was considered a renewal of the vows, Heidi insists that this is actually their first wedding. She said:

"(Last time) I had Lauren Conrad telling me to leave, the producers telling Spencer to leave me at the altar and it was just really awful. I had my mom yelling at me, telling I needed my stepdad to walk me down the aisle, not my real dad.

It was just so awful and everyone was just so mean, and no one there wanted us to get married. They just wanted a show, so now this is real.

We had a lot of voodoo on the last one so I’m ready for a new marriage."
