Wacko Jacko is trying to use a sick note to get out of testifying in London in a suit brought against him by Arab sheikh Al Khalifa.

The prince is claiming that Jacko owes him 7 million buckaroos for a contract that the Prince of Pop never carried through with.

Michael's lawyer, Robert Englehart, is insisting that it would be "unwise for him to travel, given what's he's got now," but would not elaborate on the mysterious ailment.

Is it Janet-like Vertigo???? That must run in the Jackson family!

Khalifa's lawyer is not buying it, calling the medical evidence "unsatisfactory" and pointing out that this isn't the first time Jackson has tried to squirm his way out of court.

Englehart is claiming that the $7 mill was a gift, and not the advance for the album, autobriography, and stage play that Khalifa is claiming. Khalifa, an aspiring songwriter, says he feels betrayed, as both a friend and a professional. The sheikh also bankrolled Jackson's stay in Bahrain.

Jackson's camp is arguing that the contract was signed on behalf of Al Khalifa's endeavored label 2 Seas Records, which never got off the ground.

Judge Nigel Sweeney will make his decision on Thursday.

Former co-host of The View, Debbie Matenopoulos, tells People that she was saddened to learn of her husband's divorce filing.

Especially since she didn't learn it from her husband - she heard about it via the Internets!!!!

Her husband, Jay Faires, filed for divorce on Wednesday, citing irreconcilable differences and asking that Debbie receive no spousal support. They separated in March, but Debbie says, "I am not a proponent of divorce and I believe in working things out."

In other words: She wants money!!!!!!!

Debbie adds, "So you can only imagine my extreme sadness and disillusionment when I was informed of my husband's divorce proceedings, much like you were, by reading them online."

Ouch!

You could also add "failure to communicate" to their divorce.

Poor Michael Jackson - he just can't get a break!

He had to sell his Neverland Ranch and his neighbors in Vegas don't want him there either. And that's not even the icing on the cake.

What's more is that now an Arab sheik is trying to kick him when he's down.

Prince Abdulla Al-Khalif of Bahrain wants $6.5 million for an exclusive deal on an autobiography, 2 albums, and a musical that Wacko never made good on.

Apparently back in 2006, Wacko signed a contract to produce material for Al-Khalif's label, 2 Seas Records. The prince even gave the singer a $268,398 Rolls Royce, bailed out the ill-fated Neverland Ranch, and accomodated the singer for 6 months in Bahrain after his 2005 child molestation acquital.

Hmmm…so maybe Wacko deserves it after all.

But, Wacko, however, claims the money was a "gift."

A gift???? Is he still sipping the Jesus Juice????

The case comes before London's High Court today, Monday. The fallen King of Pop is not expected to appear in court.

Maybe if Abdulla Al-Khalif had been under the age of 12 Michael may have followed through!

Justin Timberlake has been slapped with a lawsuit claiming that the former boy bander doesn't treat employees at his Manhattan eatery fairly!

A busboy is suing Timberlake, saying his New York City barbecue joint didn't pay him a legal wage.

Felipe Ramales alleges in a federal lawsuit filed Friday that he worked for Timberlake's Southern Comfort restaurant for about a year.

The suit says Ramales and other staffers didn't get their proper share of a gratuity charge the restaurant automatically collected from parties with six or more diners. The busboy also says he worked more than 40 hours per week without getting overtime.

A manager at the restaurant says the tip allegations are false, and all staffers made well above the legal minimum wage.

Hmmm….

We're inclined to believe the little guy!

If you've had an allergic reaction to one of your Victoria's Secret bras, it looks like you're not alone!

A number of ladies from several states have filed complaints against the underwear chain for hawking allegedly flawed bras.

In fact, so many women are coming out with complaints that it looks as if Vicky may have a class action lawsuit on its hands.

That sounds expensive!

An attorney for one of the claimants says formaldehyde is making its way into Victoria's Secret bras which could explain the allergic reactions (i.e. welts and rashes) bra wearers have come down with.

Formaldehyde? Really???

Ohio resident Roberta Ritter said in her complaint, "I had the welts … very red, hot to the touch, extremely inflamed, blistery. It itched profusely. I couldn't sleep, waking up itching. I was just utterly sick."

A number of complaints similar to Roberta's have also popped up on the medical self-help site medhelp.org, according to reports.

Victoria's Secret responded through their PR people with this statement, "We are sorry that a small number of people have had an issue and we want to help them determine the cause… Customer safety and satisfaction are always our primary concerns and we take seriously any issues our customers may have with our products."

In regards to the formaldehyde claim, the bra seller said, "We have strict quality controls around our products, and we do not use formaldehyde in our bras."

Crazy stuff!

Race car guy Helio Castroneves is scheduled to face the Tax Man in court in March of 2009.

We've mentioned previously that he's accused of dodging U.S. taxes on about $5.5 million in income by using offshore accounts.

However, he's begged a judge for a delay because he could lose his 'job'.

The trial would fall smack dab in the middle of racing season and the team he races for, Penske, would have to fire him soon so they can get someone more stable in their driver's seat.

Helio's lawyers argued that it would be "catastrophic" for him to lose his job and that "a presumed innocent defendant should not face the prospect of losing his career based solely on the return of an indictment."

Pay your taxes, y'all!

Ah, yes, the downward spiral!

A familiar place for celebs who rise to fame too fast to figure out how to manage their money.

The spiral has now claimed Damon Dash, who was once a rather prominent hip-hop mogul with a hand in everything from record labels, to clothing lines, to films, vodka, and night clubs.

His empire has all come crashing down in a wave of lawsuits pushing Dash for money long-owed and yet to be paid.

Pay up, player!!!!

In 2006 Dash bragged about his butler and his chef, owning 1,300 pairs of shoes, and being worth "$50 million."

How quickly it goes!

2 years later, Dash is losing his SUV, two Tribeca condominiums, and has got a few people pissed for not paying up, including the state of New York, to which Dash owes $2.1 million in taxes.

His lawyer has dropped him as well, for not coughing up legal fees. And Dash is positively buried in lawsuits at the moment.

Attorney Jason Gabbard - who represented a fashion firm in a suit against Dash and his wife over $148,505 in unpaid fees - put it nicely and succinctly, "I've worked with musicians, artists and entertainers that in the eyes of the media are very wealthy, but to borrow a phrase from my Kentucky homeland, they haven't got a pot to piss in - they're broke."

Ouch!

An email from Dash spokeswoman Amanda Silverman said that he had "won all of his lawsuits."

Ooops, he did it again!!!

Kanye West was arrested in the U.K. early Friday morning after allegedly assaulting a paparazzo!

The incident allegedly took place as the rapper left Tup Tup, a nightclub in Newcastle, at 1:10 in the morning.

Photog Terry Blackburn claims he suffered a cut face and bruising after Kanye pushed his camera into his face and shouted: “Get the fucking camera off him.”

The rapper was arrested three hours later at the Hilton Hotel in Gateshead and released without charge.

This isn't the first time Kanye has had a violent incident with the paparazzi.

West was arrested in Los Angeles in September after an altercation with a photog turned physical.

Charges against the rapper were ultimate dropped.
