Earlier this week, Lily Allen opened up to the BBC about her harrowing experience with her stalker Alex Gray, who has been harassing the Smile singer for seven years. Oh man!
As you may know, Miz Allen first started receiving abusive letters and suicide notes back in 2009. Unfortunately, the same man broke into her apartment just last year after the A-lister forgot to lock her door. So scary!
To make matters worse, Lily feels that the police failed her in regards to this upsetting case. Apparently, the 30 year old sent several of the notes to law enforcement officers thinking they'd be used against Gray, who has been diagnosed with schizophrenia — but she soon discovered that they had been destroyed due to "police protocol".
Also, the man was only first arrested after he stole her handbag. While Alex has been charged with harassment and burglary, he is NOT facing stalking charges. The LDN artist even added the police didn't seem interested in "making a stalking case".
Lily felt particularly victim shamed after talking about her experience when an officer clapped back in a letter:
Lily Allen recently spoke out against the lack of diversity at the BRIT Awards saying grime artists Stormzy and Skepta were overlooked for because "industry figures don't necessarily care about music, they mostly care about themselves."
The English singer went on to say:
"It is the awards ceremony Alan Partridge would approve of."
Partridge is a character played by comedian Steve Coogan and is a parody of British television personalities and the character enjoys music such as Wings and Abba.
Well, it turns out the sonbird is looking for friends, not love!
The 30-year-old apparently uses the popular app to meet new people while she's on tour! On her profile, she explains the last thing she wants to do with her potential friends is talk about work, saying:
A cameraman caught up with the TV personality while she was running errands in Delaware, and when asked about split rumors, the 24-year-old responded:
"Yeah, it's true."
The momma-of-two explained why she and her former flame have decided to part ways, saying:
"We're trying to do the best we can for our kids because they are what really matters."
These two have been through some tough times lately, considering the MTV alum recently had a miscarriage that Javi actually blamed her for.
And while the blonde's man did apologize for taking his grief out on her, the couple has grown distant from each other since his deployment.
In fact, Monday's episode of the hit series even hinted at their breakup when Miz Lowry hung up on her main man, even though Facetime is the only way they can communicate while he's serving in the Air Force.
