We guess old habits die HARD!

We bet a lot of parents with teens can relate to this story!
In an interview with People Magazine, Melissa Rivers revealed how her 15-year-old son Cooper Endicott is coping with Joan Rivers' death now that he's a full-fledged teenager. Coop was just 13-years-old when his grandmother passed away in 2014 from a surgery gone wrong.
For those who don't know, the teen was especially close to his beloved grandma. The boy even lived with Ms. Rivers for an extended period of time after M.R. divorced his father John Endicott in 2003.
Now that C.E. is a little bit older, his momma reveals he's handling the comedienne's death as any typical teenager would:
"He misses her, but he has moved into the typical teenage phase of pulling it out as a weapon."
A "weapon"? Sounds interesting…
The 48-year-old went on to explain that Cooper will try to use the sad situation to his advantage, saying:
The 48-year-old decided to sue the clinic back in January of 2015 after it was revealed Joan Rivers' death could have been avoided had it not been for the improper procedure during the comedienne's routine throat operation.
TMZ has revealed the lawsuit was settled on Thursday, and while the amount was undisclosed, a source dished that it is eight figures!
The Fashion Police cohost has since spoken out, sharing in a post on Twitter:
Joan Rivers may no longer be with us, but it seems like E!'s Fashion Police still has a LOT of bite!
Here's what the celebrity momager had to say:
That's because it was announced on Thursday that the 60-year-old reality TV star will be judging two of her daughters on an upcoming episode of Fashion Police!
Kris will be guest hosting alongside Giuliana Rancic, Brad Goreski, Melissa Rivers, and Margaret Cho as they breakdown the best and the worst looks of New York Fashion Week… including Kendall & Kylie Jenner's new line Kendall + Kylie!
This will be Kris' first appearance on the E! series since their Halloween special back in 2012!
Make sure to catch Kris Jenner's episode of Fashion Police when it airs Thursday, February 18 at 8 p.m. EST on E!

And while that in itself is pretty terrible, Melissa spoke to Us Weekly on Wednesday about how the nominations are just a symptom of a much larger problem, saying:
Following in her late mother's footsteps, Melissa Rivers just wants to have a little fun on the red carpet!
On Monday night's Fashion Police coverage of the Golden Globes, the 47-year-old joked about those wanting to make the red carpet more serious with new campaigns like #AskHerMore fronted by Reese Witherspoon and Amy Poehler's #SmartGirlsAsk.
In fact, she revealed:
What chic news!
E! announced on Thursday that the comedian has been upgraded to special co-host for the 2016 awards season!
Margaret shared an adorable statement in response to the news — and a sweet thank you to the late Joan Rivers, saying:
