Oprah Winfrey has made history once again at the 2018 Golden Globes!

The A Wrinkle In Time star is the first African American woman in history to be presented with the Cecil B. DeMille Award.

First up, Reese Witherspoon introduced the icon, describing her truly impressive body of work! Her "outstanding contributions to the world of entertainment" include excellent acting in movies like The Color Purple, fabulous interviews, and (apparently) amazing hugs! LOLz!

Then Oprah herself took the stage and described how fellow DeMille winner Sidney Poitier's Oscars win was one of the most important moments of her youth.

She then moved on to talking about the biggest story of the past year and of the night, the #MeToo movement, recounting the moving story of 1944 rape victim Recy Taylor who refused to stay quiet. She got the whole crowd on their feet like only THE Oprah can.

Yet another Oscar winner accused of sexual misconduct.

On December 15, a publicist identified as Haleigh Breest filed a civil suit against Paul Haggis, who famously (or infamously) wrote and directed the 2006 Best Picture winner Crash.

Breest says Haggis was giving her a ride home after a 2013 movie premiere but brought her to his apartment instead, and invited her up for a drink. She says after she accepted out of politeness he became "sexually aggressive" and forced her into a bedroom where he made her perform oral sex and raped her.

She says she woke up and immediately got herself tested for STDs before telling multiple friends and her psychologist.

Following news of the legal action, three more women have come forward to speak to Breest's attorneys, giving anonymous interviews to the Associated Press, per The Hollywood Reporter, in which they detailed very similar stories of sexual assault between 1996 and 2015.

Behave yourselves, Hollywood — the New York Times is watching!

During one of the biggest celebrations in the entertainment industry, the paper will be there to remind actors, directors, and producers that "the truth has a voice."

The publication that first published the bombshell report on Harvey Weinstein has dropped a new commercial about sexual misconduct that will air during the Golden Globes broadcast on Sunday.

Part of the latest phase of "The Truth Is Hard" campaign, which kicked off during last year's Oscars and promoted the job of journalists to uncover the truth, the promo begins by showing the phrase, "He said. She said."

What follows is an empowering visual representing the wave of women and men who have come forward with allegations against powerful men in Hollywood.

Watch the ad (below) and keep an eye out for the message during the Globes on Sunday, Jan. 7 at 8 p.m. EST on NBC.

jlaw emma stoned texted for a year before meeting

Jennifer Lawrence and Emma Stone have so much in common.

They both have Oscars. They're each incredibly funny. And, thanks to W Magazine, we now know the ladies even shared the same "stalker."

So… it's no wonder they're best friends.

Apparently, J.Law and Emma bonded over the fact that they were both hit up by some rando, named "John the Orchestra Guy." Per the A-listers, the unknown industry vet would send "accidental" messages to each of the starlets. Smh.

Although the twosome exchanged phone numbers via mutual pal Woody Harrelson, the pair waited an entire year to meet up in person. Since the celebrated actresses had only ever texted, for a brief moment en route to their meet up, each thought the other may've actually been John the Orchestra Guy the whole time. HIGHlarious!

Thankfully, that wasn't the case, and now they're dear friends. Be sure to ch-ch-check out their sit down for yourself (below).

People always have something to complain about when it comes to award shows — like, say, when the wrong Best Picture winner is announced at the Oscars. Well, Jimmy Kimmel is sick of it!

So to get back at our increasingly outraged society, the late night host delivered another segment of Make Nervous Tourists on the Street Look Dumb AF Lie Witness News!

In this edition, pedestrians were interviewed about this year's Celebrity Excellence Awards (which is not a thing), and were asked questions that were very obviously supposed to prompt an outraged response.

Kimmel didn't exactly get the complaints he was looking for, but at least he made a few well-intentioned people look stupid. Late night comedy gold!

Are you laughing at these people? Watch the clip and share your thoughts (below).

The family that slays together, stays together!

Seriously though, we love seeing such a strong father-daughter bond between Mira Sorvino and Paul Sorvino.

In case you missed it, Paul told TMZ on Tuesday Harvey Weinstein should be happy to go to prison because the other option was that he himself would "kill the motherfucker" for what he did to his daughter.

Afterward, Mira didn't mention her protective poppa's threat specifically — but she did have some wonderful things to say.

Jamie Foxx and Katie Holmes are still going strong, but they're doing things their own way.

As we previously reported, in early December, the Oscar winner threw a star-studded 50th birthday bash at Paramount Studios in El Lay. As Miz Holmes is allegedly Jamie's girlfriend of four years, it's no wonder the Dawson's Creek alum was in attendance.

However, since the love birds have tried to keep their romance under the radar for YEARS, it's surprising to learn that the pair "were all over each other" at the party. One insider dished to Us Weekly:
