New Poster For The Avengers Leaks!

avengers-first-promo-poster.jpg

And it is really freakin' cool! Geek out!

The Avengers is probably the most talked about superhero movie in recent years. With a shmorgishborg of huge name stars onboard and Joss Whedon behind the lens, there's little to no chance that this movie is going to disappoint. (Don't quote us on that.)

We don't know much about the story yet, but as of today, we have a first look at The Avengers all together, all in costume! Check out the poster for flick (above), which was presented to attendees of the at the Licensing International Expo in Las Vegas this week.

Pretty sweet, right? Everybody looks awesome!

The Gwyneth Paltrow-Robert Downey Jr. Love Scene That Got Cut

The Gwyneth Paltrow-Robert Downing Jr. Love Scene That Got Cut

We all thought the Iron Man movies were awesome, but now we know they could have been EVEN MORE AWESOME!!

In director Jon Favreau’s original version of Iron Man 2 he wanted to open on the morning after a Robert Downey Jr. and Gwyneth Paltrow’s characters got down and dirty.

Said Favreau:

"We wanted to open up Iron Man 2 with Tony waking up, looking over, seeing that he's laying next to Pepper Potts and that they'd just slept together, and just being really freaked out, like, what's he going to do?"

Unfortunately, the studio shut that idea down.

Favreau continued:

"Although we had a lot of creative freedom, there was all of a sudden, there was something to protect and the studio was already very well established, there was an Avengers agenda, there was a Tony Stark agenda, and there were all these other movies that were being developed."

BOOO studios!

Although we would have wanted more than just a morning after scene!!

Jeremy Renner Making A Cameo In Thor As Hawkeye!

jeremy-renner-to-cameo-in-thor-as-hawkeye

Makes sense to us! He was pretty much the only one to not have a previous appearance on the big screen!

Jeremy Renner was announced to be portraying Hawkeye in the upcoming superhero ensemble flick, Super Friends The Avengers - which also features the likes of Iron Man, Thor, The Hulk, Captain America, and Black Widow, all of whom who have starred in separate franchises - but now, we've gotten word that the actor will be making a cameo as the character in the upcoming Thor!

According to a source who has seen the footage:

"In the concept art, we see Renner wearing similar dark glasses and a leather outfit with a matching over-the-shoulder leather quill for his arrows, only the movie version of Hawkeye has the S.H.I.E.L.D. logo emblazoned on it to show his government allegiances. His precision bow is much like the one used by archers who do it for sports and hunting."

Inneresting!

Glad to hear that they're setting the scene for him so his appearance in Avengers doesn't seem so completely out of left field!

We're very curious to see how the character is interpreted for the big screen! He's one of our faves!

What do U think?? Are U excited to see Jeremy as Hawkeye??

Today, the In-N-Out in Irvine was the venue of power lunch between two Hollywood heavy-hitters - Robert Downey Jr. and Mel Gibson.

Hmm! Tell us more! Animal style? Extra toast?! Which way did you have it, boys?!

P.S. - What in the world could these two have been talking about we wonder?!

First Iron Man 3 Script Deets Revealed!

new iron man 3 script details revealed

Looks like the Iron Man 3 news keeps on coming!

Last month, we learned that Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang director Shane Black would be reuniting with Robert Downey Jr. to direct the next installment in the super hero franchise.

Now, we've got some new Iron Man 3 script details for ya:

- Marvel wants Tony Stark to fight against "real-world villains"

- Takes place AFTER The Avengers

- Won't feature any crossover characters from the Marvel Universe

Real-world villains? How much more REAL do you get than Mickey Rourke As Whiplash??? LOLz!

What do U think about the first script deets from Iron Man 3?

Remember Soapdish? Well, It's Being Remade…

soapdish remake is coming

We suppose this was a big deal back in the early nineties, but has anybody really talked about this film anytime recently?

Guess the point is to get people talking again, because Paramount is remaking Soapdish, a 1991 comedy "which chronicled the behind the scenes at a daytime soap."

The film will be produced by Alan Greisman, who also produced the original, along with Rob Reiner.

Wonder who they'll cast for this remake. The original had a pretty great cast including Robert Downey Jr., Kevin Kline, and Sally Field, so hopefully they can find some solid talent to take over.

We're not too excited about this. Seems like one remake or reboot after another these days.

Does a remake of Soapdish do anything for you?
