Well we can't say we're surprised...

A squirrel with the Bubonic plague was found in California and three campgrounds, near when they found it, have been shut down!!
The camps are about fifty miles northeast from Los Angeles near a town called Wrightwood.
Back in Europe during the Middle Ages the bubonic plague was called the Black Death and killed millions of people during that time. This is the third time an animal has been discovered with the Bubonic plague in six years.
TLC has some of the best/cringe-inducing shows.
One of those is called My Crazy Obsession and a recent episode featured Kelly Foxton.
Kelly is a big animal lover and photographer.
So she combined her love of miniature consume and set design, her love of photography and her extreme love of her pet squirrel Sugar Bush into a crazy hobby.
She dresses up her squirrel in different elaborate outfits and takes pictures of him.
We didn't even know squirrels lived in the Serengeti! LOLz!
Africa is a land FILLED to the brim with majestic wildlife…whether it's cheetahs, leopard, gazelles, lions, baboons…you get the point.
But OMG squirrels!?!?!? HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE?!?!?!!?!
In Britain…they take squirrel rescue QUITE seriously! LOLz!
A local 999 call in Watford sent three firefighter crews to a pond where they THOUGHT a person had fallen inside.
It turned out to be a helpless squirrel….which is still important, people!
The crew used two ladders to save the poor critter, but they willingly admit the THREE firetrucks wasn't a good look.
Normally, three firefighter crews respond to a HUMAN life-saving scenario and council members are discussing if that is necessary.
For realzies…that must have been one pretty important squirrel!
Silly squirrel…how'd you get stuck in there!!!
A squirrel had one nutty afternoon when he got stuck in a manhole cover while burying his treasures.
Munich firefighters came to the rescue of the little one and with the help of vets, he was free.
A spokesperson says the following:
All's fair in love and war!
A Belarus solider found a sick squirrel under a tree, barely alive and helpless.
So, the good warrior took him back to base and nursed the little one back to full strength.
This was TWO YEARS AGO!!! Now, the two are inseparable, becoming super besties!
Check out the video (above) to learn more about the two close and unlikely friends!
There are some many things wrong with this scenario.
For starters….WHO OWNS A PET SQUIRREL!?!?!
In a top contender for WTF? Moment of the Year, a man in Texas has stooped to a new squirrel-y low.
Warren Michael has blamed his pet squirrel for "eating him" while he was driving. The "pet" likes to crawl into Michael's shirt and adding to the DRINKING AND DRIVING, we can see how this can look pretty strange.
Watch the wackiness (above) and please…PLEASE….
Don't drink and drive and own squirrels…
P.S. The squirrel (a female) is now named Duey..spelled D-U-I.
