By Friday, all the Twi-Hards of the world will be congregating in front of their TVs and computers to marvel and play on repeat their newly purchased Breaking Dawn - Part One DVD. Some will be half asleep, having stayed up past their bedtime to go to a midnight release party, so they might just skip the movie and go to the good stuff on the DVD extras.
Lucky for them, there is a lot to choose from … and we've got one of them right here! Check out the video (above) to watch Edward and Bella's keepsake wedding video! Oh yeah, the Cullen's spared no expense on this joyous day. They had a videographer and everything.
Check out the video to see the special feature, which not only has messages from some very special people in the cast, but also takes a look at some of the more beautiful — and possibly overlooked — aspects of the decor!
It really was a stunning set! Well worth the wait for fans.
Bummer! How good would he have been for Cato??? Right?!
Now that Twilight and The Hunger Games are all under one roof, the Powers That Be over at Lionsgate/Summit Entertainment have decreed that there will be no "crossover" between the two franchises. We don't know how far that rule is going to extend (like, running the trailer for the last Twilight movie before the first Hunger Games?), but we do know it means that one of the Twi-star was snubbed the chance to be in the new series.
Kellan Lutz revealed at Audi’s Super Bowl party this weekend that he loved the Hunger Games script and really wanted to audition, but was told he couldn't because of his role in Twilight.
Whomp, whomp! Not cool people with all the money running the studio! Not cool!
Don't fret, Kellan. You never know what might happen. Maybe they'll change their minds by the second flick and you can play Finnick! That's a better part anyway!
It will probably be at least another five years before Catherine Hardwicke can sit down for an interview without talking about working on Twilight. Then again, if she keep dropping bombs like these when she is asked about the movie, she might never escape it!
In a new interivew, Catherine was asked again about working on the original Twilight film, but this time, the topic got off of the movie and focused in on the personal relationships of the flick's main stars, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Everyone already knows the bed story (they made out for the first time on Cat's bed, FYI) and how at the time of filming, Rob was heavily invovled with co-star Nikki Reed and K-Stew was dating Michael Angarano. But all that went away when the two fell in love and for Catherine, there's a twinge of guilt that goes along with that knowledge. She says:
Last night, Howard Stern appeared on Late Show with David Letterman (above), and he swore that he will NOT promote America's Got Talent on Leno's show…even though he's working with NBC!
Ya gotta appreciate the loyalty! If we were talking Twilight, we're thinking Howard would be the kind of guy who'd only watch scenes with Taylor Lautner in them! (we assume he's a Team Jacob guy)
What do U think? Will Howard cave in and make an appearance on Leno???
It seems like we have to wait forever to see the final installment of The Twilight Sage, but luckily, the release of the latest film is only just days away. That will surely tide us over for about a week!
And lookie, lookie! The DVD set of Breaking Dawn Part 1 comes with some FUN-tastic extras! Check out the video (above) to see what some of them are! (Hint: Some of this stuff you've never seen before!!!!)
She's doing herself a disjustice for not having written another one already. She has about a year left to capitalize on the hype and make bucco-bucks. In fact, if she could manage to release one around the same time that the last movie comes out, she may never have to work again.
Someone else who agrees that author Stephenie Meyer should take another crack at extending the Twilight Saga is Catherine Hardwick, the director of the original Twilight film. Check out the video (above) to hear whole-heartedly agree that another Twilight book will come to the fans.
Call us crazy, but we don't see anything wrong with the Lionsgate and Summit merger. In this instance, you've got two huge franchises — one just beginning and one on its way out — giving the company all the power it needs to make the kind of movies they want to make in the inbetween time. But having both The Hunger Games and The Twilight Saga under one roof can be beneficial to each of the franchises as well!
Case in point: What if the trailer for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2 premiered before The Hunger Games? Not only would you get all the Tributes in to see the movie, but Twi-hards would flock in DROVES just for the preview. Maybe they aren't completely on board with Katniss Everdeen, but so what? They bought the ticket to see the movie anyway!
Hear that sound? CHA-CHING!
Needless to say, we're of the shared opinion (as this is the rumor circulating the Internet today) that the final Twilight trailer will premiere before The Hunger Games come March. It sounds mutually beneficial to all involved; fans get their trailer early, studio gets their money!
You want to know what we think? Okay, this is what we think:
Come November, some of you Twi-Hards are going to be really happy and some of you Twi-hards are going to be really pissed off. Generally speaking, when a franchise comes to close, this is the case, but we think specifically the fandom is going to be divided on the final film in the Twilight Saga because of all the NEW scenes that are going to be added. Let's get real here — we all know how the book ends and we all know there isn't that much material to work with that will make for an exciting conclusion. Thus, we have a feeling Stephenie Meyer and Melissa Rosenberg had themselves a pow-wow and came up with some scenes to add to this movie to appease fan's thirst for more.
Case in point: During an interview with The SAG Harbor Express, Twilight composer Carter Burwell revealed that he had to compose a song for the film specifically to be performed by Robert Pattinson and Mackenzie Foy, the young actress that plays Edward Cullen's daughter, Renesmee.
