We don't know how it came across on TV but in the theater, Whitney Houston's performance at American Music Awards was a very powerful thing.

It started off rough, though. We, like many watching probably, were thinking: "Here she goes again! TALKING the song!" But Whitney really found her own strength and channeled something very special as she went on and towards the end….

We felt Jesus in that room!

Her highest ratings in two years to be exact!

Oprah Winfrey's interview with Sarah Palin had an 8.7 household rating, which was the best she's had since the Osmond family appeared on the show back in 2007.

Palin even beat Whitney Houston's interview!

We think it must be out of sheer curiosity! Palin can't have that many fans, can she?

Sarah has been promoting her book, Going Rogue, all over the place, including an interview with Barbara Walters. When asked if she would play a major role in the presidential election in 2012 she declared that "if people will have me, I will."

NO, thank you!

Whitney Houston has just been added as a performing on the American Music Awards, airing Sunday, November 22nd at 8 PM on ABC. She will be joining a stellar group of performers such as Lady GaGa, Rihanna, Jennifer Lopez, Adam Lambert, Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Eminem, Carrie Underwood, Mary J. Blige, Shakira, Lil' Wayne and MORE!

Oh, and, best of all (for us)….

PEREZ is going to be a presenter on the show!!!!

Eddie Murphy isn't the only one trying to get rid of his Jersey digs!

Songstress Whitney Houston's former home in Mendham Township is up for sale with an asking price of $2.5 million. The home has 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms and sits atop 5 acres of land.

It was even featured on the reality show trainwreck that was Being Bobby Brown.

Some one is a little jealous of someone's comeback! That same someone is coming out with the JUICY deets in retaliation!

Rumors have floated around forever that Whitney Houston liked to play for both teams (at least when it came to her assistant, Robin Crawford) and that her marriage to Bobby Brown was for show…and blow.

Now, feeding the to bi-fires, Bobby talks about the rumors in his new memoir, Bobby Brown: The Truth, the Whole Truth and Nothing But.… The book is out next month, but we have an excerpt for you to enjoy, in which Bobby touches upon the rumors and the truth:

" [Their marriage] was doomed from the very beginning… I think we got married for all the wrong reasons. Now, I realize Whitney had a different agenda than I did when we got married . . . I believe her agenda was to clean up her image, while mine was to be loved and have children.

The media was accusing her of having a bisexual relationship with her assistant, Robin Crawford. Since she was the American Sweetheart and all, that didn't go too well with her image . . . In Whitney's situation, the only solution was to get married and have kids. That would kill all speculation, whether it was true or not."

Interesting.

Well, we can kind of beleive the rumors, if only to explain why she has such terrible taste in men! (How pathetic is this guy, seriously!)

Wonder what other little gems he'll have in that book of his!

Chezza's song has grown on us and we can forgive the fact that she was a bit stuff in her performance - she was singing live!

Pop diva Whitney Houston is set to embark on a European tour beginning in the UK on April 8.

This will be the singer's first full tour since her My Love Is Your Love tour in back in 1999. Whitney is also scheduled to appear on Britain's The X Factor on Sunday.

In addition to the UK, she'll be making stops in Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Belgium

Surely if she's doing a European tour, an American tour will follow…or even come BEFORE then!

We're eagerly awaiting for the announcement, Whit!

It could be worse!

After years of abusing her voice with drugs - smoking crack!!!! - Whitney Houston's voice is not what it used to be.

But the voice is a muscle, right? It can get better the more you train it, right? Right???
