It looks like there are parts of Meghan Markle‘s style that won’t change since becoming a royal.
As we previously reported, the Duchess of Sussex turned heads with her surprise appearance at the British Fashion Awards on Monday night, and it’s not just because of her gorgeous baby-bump which was proudly on display!

ICYMI, the 37-year-old looked stunning in a black couture one-shoulder Givenchy dress, paying clear homage to the evening’s honoree — Givenchy artistic director Clare Waight Keller — who also designed the Duchess’ wedding gown.
Prince Harry‘s wife color-coordinated her nails with her look, sporting dark black nail polish and complementary gold accessories. But this is where the problem lies!
Dark polish is actually a huge, unofficial no-no for members of the royal family. Even Duchess Kate Middleton has only dared to rock a bright, red pedicure occasionally, but never a manicure. Reports say Queen Elizabeth is partial to sheer pinks, specifically Essie‘s “Ballet Slippers”.
So, let’s add this to the growing list of rules that Meghan is ditching and/or breaking. And TBH, it probably won’t be the last!
On another note though, anyone else still wondering how or why the expecting Duchess made time for an awards show and not her bestie Priyanka Chopra‘s wedding? …No? Just us? Okay.
