ICYMI: #FireColbert Trends Over 'Homophobic' Donald Trump Joke — But Wait Until You See Who's Really Tweeting!

no title

Stephen Colbert has been poking fun at Donald Trump for months, but this time HE'S the one drawing ire.

In a comedic bit in defense of fellow CBS employee John Dickerson (the Face The Nation host to whom POTUS was exceptionally rude this week), Colbert adopted a more coarse, insulting style for a few shots across Drumpf's bow. He began:

"I love your presidency; I call it Disgrace The Nation. You're not the POTUS, you're the bloatus…"

And so on.

The mini roast ended with what many believe crossed the line:

"The only thing your mouth is good for is being Vladimir Putin's cock-holster."

Several commenters took offense to the use of "cock-holster" — specifically in making fun of Trump with a comment they viewed as homophobic:

Donald Trump Angrily Cuts Off Interview After Being Asked About His Obama Wiretap Claims! Watch!

Donald Trump won't talk about it.

U mad, Donald Trump??

The Commander-in-Chief cut an interview short after being asked about his views on claims Barack Obama wiretapped Trump Tower… after being the one to bring it up himself!

The clip of his talk with CBS's John Dickerson aired Monday, and it showed the 70-year-old getting visibly upset with some of the questions about "surveillance."

Donnie shared:

"He was very nice to me, but after that, we've had some difficulties. So it doesn't matter. You know, words are less important to me than deeds, and you saw what happened with surveillance."

And he continued, vaguely adding:

"I don't stand by anything. You can take it the way you want. I think our side has been proven very strongly, and everybody has been talking about it."

Uh, okay.

POTUS refused any questions about it before ending the interview altogether!

David Letterman Went Into A Depression After That Late Show Sextortion Scandal — Here's What Happened Behind-The-Scenes

no title

David Letterman felt REALLY bad about those times he cheated on his wife.

Specifically, the time his affair with Late Show assistant Stephanie Birkitt led to CBS producer Robert Halderman blackmailing him for $2 million.

The former talk show host spun into a deep depression over the 2009 scandal, according to a new biography by New York Times reporter Jason Zinoman that reveals what was known by his inner circle amid the controversy.

Letterman was "shaken" after revealing the scandal on air (where he admitted "I have had sex with women who work for me"), mostly out of fear that he would never see his family again.

As told in Letterman: The Last Giant of Late Night, the veteran host said about his desperate moment:

This Is Some First Degree Hollywood Whitewashing!

This is why we can't have nice things. And by nice things, we mean diversity.

In a bright shining example of Hollywood whitewashing, CBS has reportedly cast two white actors in lead roles written specifically for minorities.

Mission Control is a hot new science fiction pilot by the author of The Martian, and just like in that novel Andy Weir populated his team of scientists with a diverse group of people reflecting the world at large.

Unfortunately, that's not going to happen at CBS.

The Late Bill Paxton Will NOT Be Recast On CBS Series Training Day!

We may have lost Bill Paxton this week, but that doesn't mean we have to say goodbye to him on TV just yet.

The actor passed away over the weekend from heart surgery complications, with his untimely death coming four episodes into the run of what will be his last series, CBS's Training Day.

And though the Twister actor played one of the lead characters in the crime drama, producers made it clear they would not be recasting the role in the wake of his passing.

Creator Will Beall and executive producer Barry Schindel told TMZ that the 61-year-old was irreplaceable as crooked cop Frank Roarke on the freshman series.

Production on the show's premiere season wrapped in December, and the showrunners hinted they had a perfect "send-off" in store for Bill's character.

Thursday's episode will also feature a dedication to the actor at the top of the show.

CBS hasn't announced if the show will be back for a second season — but if Training Day gets renewed, the powers that be already know how they'll handle the tragic death.

We hope Bill's character gets a proper (aka BADASS) sendoff on the series. Our hearts go out to his loved ones at this devastating time.

Of her scenes in new CBS series Doubt, the actress said:

"I was super nervous. I think it's always weird when you're, like, having to make out and make ‘love' or get intimate with someone that you're not intimate with. You want to make sure everyone's comfortable."

The 32-year-old was also worried how costar and love interest Ben Lawson would react to kissing a transgender woman, saying:
