The fire that consumed Ashley Greene's condo and killed one of her two dogs has officially been called an accident by LA law enforcement.

As we previously reported, the blaze began because an unattended, lighted candle ignited a nearby couch, causing a fire that quickly spread throughout the entire apartment.

Luckily, Ashley, her brother, and her boyfriend (who just maybe could've been Ryan Phillippe) emerged unharmed, however one of Ashley's beloved pups perished.

SO devastating! And a tragic reminder of why lit candles need to be snuffed out — even if you leave the room for a SECOND.

Don't tempt the fiery fates!

Poor Ashley Greene!

As if it weren't tragic enough that an unattended candle in her West Hollywood condo started a raging fire that destroyed her belongings and took the life of one of her beloved dogs, it now appears that the damage was so bad that the Twilight starlet's living space will have to be COMPLETELY GUTTED…and four other units require work!

According to sources, all of the walls and flooring will need to be removed from what's left of the apartment!

This is so scary!

A disturbed lawyer and mother jumped out of her apartment in Harlem while she was holding her baby!!!

The woman fell the eight stories to her death, but her ten-month-old child somehow survived.

Witnesses say the mother landed on her back, and when she hit the ground - her baby bounced off of her and landed on the sidewalk. The baby immediately started crying and crawling around.

The baby was rushed to the nearest hospital, and is expected to survive.

Police searched and found in the deceased woman's apartment a seven page rambling suicide letter. Investigators believe she may have been suffering from post-partum depression.

One colleague of the lawyer/mother said:

“She was simply wonderful, very devoted to the courts, wonderful to everyone she worked with. It’s a tragedy.”

It's true! Bruce just purchased Adam Clayton's NYC apartment for a cool $8 million — even though the U2 bassist had it listed for $8.695 last October. So, not only did he get a FAB rock and roll pad, he got a discount! Sweet!

Apparently the place is an “art deco gem,” which boasts a view of Central Park in three of the rooms and the large master suite! It's a large place too, as Adam converted two separate units into one, and then filled it with high-end appliances, custom cabinetry, slate countertops and terrazzo floors.

With three bedrooms and four baths, it sounds perfect for entertaining house guests!

We'll give you notice before we come knockin', Bruce! Ha!

Sadly, it appears that Amanda Bynes is no longer keeping her, ahem, 'eccentricities' restricted to Twitter alone!

The troubled starlet, who has taken to posting bizarre photos of herself in wigs on the social networking site while simultaneously freaking her NYC neighbors out by only illuminating her smoke-filled apartment with red light bulbs, has now set off alarm signals for revealing in a recent Us Weekly profile that despite being 5'8" and only 121 pounds, she is DETERMINED to lose even more weight!

According to two of the 25 things we did not know about Miz Bynes:

I gain weight quickly so I need to work out constantly.

I moved to New York City and I love it! I lost four pounds since I moved. I'm 121 pounds. — my goal is 100 pounds.

Seriously?! 100 pounds at 5'8"?! Is that even possible?!

Worse yet, that's not even the CRAZIEST thing she wrote!

Apparently, she still uses the highly controversial Accutane for her skin, which the rest of us learned three years ago is no longer available in the United States, due to such extreme side effects as Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis:

I went on Accutane and it really helped my skin clear up.

Wonderful! Now are you sure that's all it helped you do, gurl?

Just another day in the wacky, seemingly weed-filled life of batshit crazy Amanda Bynes!

Although we had hoped that the increasingly erratic behavior of the former Nickelodeon darling would plateau in 2013, that has obviously been FAR from the case, as she's already been booted from her Manhattan pad for one too many, ahem, 'clam bakes' in the corridors, and most recently, taken to uploading selfies onto the social networking site in some pretty, Brit Brit-circa-2008-meltdown-inspired WIGS!

In fact, last night, she was apparently so taken with one Dollar Store-quality black, banged headgear that she posted it MULTIPLE times in a row…albeit with different captions!
