An Arizona mom has been arrested for giving her toddler beer while they were at a pizza shop.

A witness says she watched Valerie M. Topete pour the beer from a pitcher on her table.

Remember that story that said that Mariah Carey drank a beer just after giving birth to her twins Moroccan and Monroe??

Well, turns out it was all just a big misunderstanding.

California Child Protective Services got involved when it was reported that Mariah drank a beer while in the hospital with her newborns. They were a subject of "neglect," but Mariah says that it didn't happen that way.

Talking to Barbara Walters about the alleged incident on 20/20, in which Babs said, "it just doesn't make sense," Mariah clarified what happened:

"The babies were in the most protective environment because it’s the NICU."

A nurse had given Mariah a beer saying that it would improve lactation, but Maria says:

"I didn't even drink the beer."

So, there you have it. She didn't get drunk just after having dem babies. Doesn't surprise us anyway. Mariah is a classy lady who wants only the finest of things for her and her family. She wouldn't drink no nasty beer!
