No used, hand-me-down schools for Suri Cruise!

Katie Holmes has enrolled the famous first-grader in a brand new private school which will ope its doors to students for the first time this fall.

Avenues is a $40,000 dollar a year educational experience. The 215,000-square-foot campus is state of the art. We assume that means brushes, not fingerpaints?

Avenues classes go all the way through high school where they offer unique study abroad programs where Suri could really use the foreign languages she'll begin learning this year.

The school is also located only a few short blocks from Katie and Suri's new apartment in Chelsea, which means the private jet ride will be nice and short. LOLz!

A source close to the decision says Katie and Suri discussed their options and came to the decision as a family. The source says:

"Katie has eagerly been telling Suri all about the lunchrooms, basketball courts and different activities Avenues offers. Suri's really excited about it."

We really hope Suri will be happy attending Avenues, and from the sound of things she probably will. But we wonder why that private Catholic school we heard about didn't work out.

Maybe papa Tom Cruise was worried about her paying thousands of dollars to be indoctrinated with lots of crazy religious beliefs!

Who would want that?

WTF??

Halle Berry's baby daddy Gabriel Aubry is getting ridiculous!

As if the two don't have enough problems with their custody demands, now Gabriel is asking that Halle pays him enough per month so that he can live in an expensive home.

In new legal docs that were filed, Gabriel asked the family judge to force Halle to pay him somewhere between $15,000 and $20,000 a month. He also wants a "very large" amount of money for clothing for Nahla and money to take her to Canada to visit his family.

Naturally, Halle plans on fighting back and will say her peace when the two go back to court on April 9.

During the same hearing, the judge will also rule on whether or not take away some of Gabriel's custody rights, which will have an impact on how much child support Halle should pay out to him.

Oh boy. Just when we thought things couldn't get messier….

It looks like things are about to get worse.
