This is so sad and so unnecessary!!

A Chinese man, known only as Mr. Yu, is suing a Beijing animal hospital over the death of his dog.

Don't feel bad for Yu, though, he was the one who sent his dog there for plastic surgery.

That's a lot of money for dog food! LOLz!

Tibetan mastiffs are especially rare and owners will pay a pretty penny to own one of this majestic breed.

But this price tag takes the cake!

A Chinese coal industrialist drop $1.5 million on a red Tibetan mastiff, beating out the previous most expensive dog record (also a Tibetan mastiff) of $582K.

This dog is 180 pounds and he's only 11 months old!

Named Hong Dong or "Big Splash," the rare pooch was fed only beef, chicken, abalone and sea cucumber. His breeder, Mr. Lu, believes Big Splash will make an excellent breeding dog, as Tibetan mastiffs are quickly becoming status symbols on the level of limos, super cars, and diamonds.

Some historic figures who were Tibetan mastiff owners include Queen Victoria, Genghis Khan, and even Buddha.

These dogs are thought to be lucky charms and spiritual to the level that some monks believe that they are reincarnations of monks and nuns who didn't make it to heaven.

We'd love to have one of BEAUTIFUL doggies but we'll leave that to the rich folks!

She'll marry any dog regardless of gender although she refuses to marry any humans to any dogs which obviously begs the question if anyone's ever asked her for such a thing.

Here's what she said:

"The owners can get very emotional too - there are often a lot of guests and it’s a lovely day out for everyone, just like a human wedding. We’ve also sadly had one divorce; the owners called up a few months after the wedding to tell us the animals had grown apart That has been our only divorce."

In Japan, Kiyoshi Kimura, president of Sushi-Zanmai, a Japanese sushi chain, bought a 593-pound bluefin tuna.

And it cost him $736,000!!!!

It broke the record for most expensive fish ever sold, with the previous record only being $416,000.

Bluefin tuna are government controlled when it comes to how many can be caught each year and this one was particularly huge so that's why the price was so high.

On his reason for spending so much for a single fish, Kimura said:

When Amy Smart first carpenter Carter Oosterhouse, it was at an environmental charity benefit in November 2010. Naturally, when the couple tied the knot just a few weeks ago, it was important for their nuptials to be as eco-friendly as possible. And they sooo succeded.

A professor at Sinchuan University in China will make the world's most expensive tea.

It is normal green tea, but it will be fertilized with panda poo.

Gross.

It will cost $80,000 per kilogram! That's about $34,000 for just a pound of tea.

The professor claims it's worth the price because of the special health benefits. He said:

"Pandas have a very poor digestive system and only absorb about 30 percent of everything they eat. That means their excrement is rich in fibers and nutrients."

When asked how it tastes, he said:

"It has a mature, nutty taste and a very distinctive aroma while it’s brewing."

Yeah, we'd bet it's "distinctive." And nutty? Yuck.

He really does believe there are serious health benefits to the beverage. He said:

"Just like green tea, bamboo contains an element that can prevent cancer, and enhance green tea’s anti-cancer effects, if it is used as fertilizer for the tea."

Sounds like a great idea, we're just not sure who would go for tea at those prices.

We can only assume he hopes to attract buyers with the power of panda poop.
