We're kinda iffy about this…

Michael Vick's Finally Free has hit the shelves and the quarterback has been very candid about his experiences.

He even openly admitted to caring more about dog fighting than his job, which made him millions.

When he stopped for a chat with Piers Morgan (above), Vick claimed that a dog may be in his future.

Aw, poor Michael Vick.

The ex-animal torturer and current Philadelphia Eagles quarterback is bitching about not being allowed to own a dog.

Vick told GQ Magazine:

“I miss dogs, man. I always had a family pet, always had a dog growing up. It was almost equivalent to the prison sentence, having something taken away from me for three years. I want a dog just for the sake of my kids, but also me. I miss my companions.”

We have little (actually less than little) sympathy the asshole person who personally hanged or drowned seven dogs.

Luckily for the dog community, Vick can't legally own a dog until his probation is up in late 2012.

What a shame.

Kristin Cavallari was spotted post split walking her doggie in Hollywood yesterday.

Kristin was look'n hella good in her short shorts and chatting away on her cell like she didn't have a care in the world. We're guessing her pooch is helping her stay strong!

We appreciate that he's attempting to clean up his act.

Check out (above) a clip of Eagles quarterback Michael Vick talking to the students of a Philadelphia High School about his troubled past with dog fighting.

The road to redemption is a long one, so we hope that he continues to speak out against such a horrific and brutal activity. He owes it to the animals that he had a part in abusing!
