MTV has got us EXCITED! But why, you ask??
The Viacom owned network is bringing Wes Craven’s Scream movies to television!! AH-MAZING!
A one-hour pilot has been ordered and will be based on the franchise! In fact, MTV and Dimension Film are trying to get Wes, who helmed the first Scream back in 1996, to direct the pilot!
As no writer has signed onto the project, we sure hope Kevin Williamson is in on this! He did, afterall, pen the movie scripts!
Assuming all goes well, the adapted TV show could air the summer of 2014.
Think we’ll see any original cast cameos? Neve Campbell, Courteney Cox, David Arquette, we’re looking at you!!

The Scream 4 and American Horror Story power couple took a break from scaring the bejeezus out of us to make googly eyes at each other as they left a romantic restaurant in West Hollywood on Thursday!

The Scream singer took his bundles of joy to the Sky Zone in Atlanta to celebrate his son, Cinco's 5th birthday, and they looked like they were having a jumping time!!

Grey's Anatomy fans: Scream for joy!
ABC just announced that Neve Campbell is joining the cast of the long-running emo doctor drama!
We're told the Party of Five vet and new mommy is set to "appear in multiple episodes" as Patrick Dempsey's…(wait for it)… sibling!
Grey's lovers know McDreamy has four sisters, two of which have already appeared on the show. So, Mz. Campbell will be playing either Kathleen the psychiatrist or his mysterious fourth sis.
This is some exciting news!
With the tragic loss of McSteamy (Eric Dane), Neve's appearance will be a welcomed pick-me-up for devoted viewers!
