Every detail of this situation continues to remain absolutely tragic!

Former Melrose Place star Amy Locane-Bovenizer was convicted this week of vehicular manslaughter and assault with an auto after killing a 60 year-old NJ woman and severely injuring her husband while driving drunk.

The actress was sentenced to five to 10 yeas in prison for the first charge and three-to-five for the second; it's expected she'll be allowed to serve her sentences concurrently.

Jerry Sandusky was in court this morning for the hours long sentencing hearing.

He faced around 400 years in prison.

The judge was expected to throw the maximum sentence at him for each of the 45 counts of child sexual abuse.

In a surprising move, he released a statement from jail, still claiming innocence.

Earlier this month, we reported how Lauryn Hill was in deep shiz with the IRS for tax evasion!

Well now, Hill has just pleaded guilty to tax evasion charges in federal court…after failing to file THREE years worth of taxes on her $1.8 million income!!

The hip-hop songstress will be sentenced in late November and could be facing up to THREE years behind bars!

Not only that, but she could have to pay $75k in fines as well!

Lauryn’s attorney is now claiming that she was unfairly targeted because of her celeb status and stated:

"There are many people in society who fail to file their taxes on time who only face civil liability. They chose Ms. Hill in particular because of who she was."

Not so sure we agree with that one…!

Simple solution??? Pay your taxes in the first place!

Guess we'll have to wait until November to see what becomes of Mz. Hill!!

The creep who has been CONVICTED of killing three members of Jennifer Hudson's family wants a new trial.

Say what?!

A judge is considering it, and will decide by sometime next month. He set a July 24 date to rule on the request from William Balfour's attorneys. We're willing to bet that Jennifer and her family do NOT want to go through something like that again.

Maybe they won't have to, but the fact that there's a possibility is heartbreaking!

Former Miss USA, Rima Fakih, was pulled over back in December for boozin’ while cruisin’ and today, has reached a plea deal.

Fakih, the first Arab-American Miss USA, was caught with an open bottle of champagne when she was stopped in her Jaguar, driving erratically.

Rima pleaded no contest to driving while visibly impaired and is now facing a maximum of 93 days in jail during her sentencing next month.
