Looks like Michele is NOT ready to let this Late Night incident go!
Here's what she had to say about it:
We're shocked someone could even have these thoughts, much less express them in a public forum.
Today, the Oklahoma House of Representatives approved a proposed constitutional amendment that would eliminate Affirmative Action in state government. Several state legislators were on hand to support the amendment, including Rep. Sally Kern of Oklahoma City.
You remember Sally, don't you? No? Do the phrases "gay basher" and "hate monger" ring any bells? Well, she's living up to her long-standing reputation as the latter today as she made some horrendous comments to the press about the amendment passing.
In her warped world view, Rep. Kern believes minorities earn less than white people because they don’t work as hard and have less initiative, thus stripping them of the ease of Affirmative Action will make them proactive.
Oh wait, it gets WORSE. She added:
“We have a high percentage of blacks in prison, and that’s tragic, but are they in prison just because they are black or because they don’t want to study as hard in school? I’ve taught school, and I saw a lot of people of color who didn’t study hard because they said the government would take care of them.”
Or maybe they just didn't have a teacher who looked beyond the stereotypes and offered them real opportunities to excel and learn. Ever think about that, Sally? When one of those kids said that to you, did you turn around and offer them some guidance or did you just write them off??? We can only imagine!
Oh, and ladies, don't think she has forgotten about you! She further added that women earn less than men because “they tend to spend more time at home with their families.”
How does their role as a mother and wife even remotely affect their role at their job? How is it any different than being a father and husband? And what about the single mothers out there? Do they work any less diligently because they have a family to feed? This is 2011, lady! There are more women than EVER who are the breadwinners in their households. Did you take that into account at all?!
You disgust us. You're a narrow-minded, homophobic, sexist bigot and we feel sorry that the people of Oklahoma have you as a representative.
Gordon Ramsay is famous for being asshole, but apparently he takes it too far with women.
The cooks at Gordon’s restaurant in The London NYC hotel walked out last weekend and haven’t returned since.
They say that the restaurant is sexist. The male chefs reportedly call themselves, “Gordon’s Soldiers.”
Chef Janet Kim says sexual harassment is the norm in the kitchen. "We're way past 'Hell's Kitchen,'" said Kim. "It's more like 'Dante's Inferno.'"
Kim’s formal complaint outlines that she was groped, called a "whore," and propositioned for oral sex at the restaurant.
Every cook that walked out has been suspended from the restaurant.
Gordon Ramsay’s rep released the following statement:
"Gordon Ramsay has not been served with any proceedings and these allegations do not relate to him in anyway. The restaurant 'Gordon Ramsay' at The London, New York is not owned or operated by Gordon Ramsay or Gordon Ramsay Holdings (GRH) and hasn't been since November 2009 when all operations were handed back to the hotel. Neither Gordon Ramsay or GRH have any involvement with or responsibility for the operation of the restaurant, including anything to do with human resources which is entirely the responsibility of the owners."
This is a mess. Hopefully this wraps up and new policies are put in place that prevent sexism!

This is pretty sad statement, Hollywood.
After reviewing the payrolls of men versus women in the latest Forbes list of top earning actors in primetime, it was revealed that men make almost three times as much as the ladies do!
No joke! And do they deserve it? HELL NO!
Consider that top dog on the men's team is Charlie Sheen and his 2+million paycheck for Two and Half Men. Last year, he out-earned the ladies leading lass, CSI’s Marg Helgenberger, 3 to 1, when back-end profits were factored in!
3 to 1! Absurd!
Oh wait, there's more!
If you take all the earnings on the men side, their total comes to whopping $308 million.
The women? $162 million
That's almost double!
Wise up, people! We'd much rather watch almost all the women on TV do their thing than Charlie Sheen do ANYTHING! So unfair!

A new Dove commercial that aired during Mad Men has made viewers angry.
The commercial, which was shot in a 1960s setting a la Mad Men, shows two advertising writers trying to come up with a good ad for Dove when the secretary enters the room to bring them coffee. She overhears their conversation and then joins in, but not before saying "I know this may not be my place, but…" and then describes why she loves Dove soap.
Many people were offended that a commercial would glamorize sexism, when Dove ads usually celebrate women.
Unilever, the parent company of Dove, said that wasn't their intention. The company said in a statement:
"We created the vignettes to showcase the heritage of our iconic brands — which are as popular today as they were then — on a hit show that is culturally relevant to consumers. The vignettes showcase how 1960s fictional ad agency SmithWinterMitchell develops campaigns for the six Unilever brands, combining witty historic parody with modern ad footage."
And there you have it.
Watch the commercial in the clip above and tell us what U think!
What do U think of the Dove commercial???
