The Hunger Games is the Best District Favorite Movie!

As if it's any big surprise with all the major fans, The Hunger Games beat out The Amazing Spider-Man, The Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises and Snow White and the Huntsman for Favorite Movie at the 2013 People's Choice Awards.

Jennifer Lawrence, Liam Hemsworth and Josh Hutcherson were there to battle over accept the award.

And no one had to fight to the death!

OMG! Spider-Man is dead?! He's only 700!

In Wednesday's The Amazing Spider-Man #700, the final installment of the 50-year-long series, Peter Parker is apparently being killed off for good!

So how does the Friendly Neighborhood Wall-Crawler meet his end? Does Emma Stone catch him upside-down kissing Shailene Woodley?

Nothing so straightforward and sense-making!

He and archenemy Doctor Octopus somehow switched bodies (mad science!), and Peter succumbed to the radiation sickness that was killing Doc Ock.

Conveniently, Peter's body is still around, looking Andrew Garfield-tastic, only it now houses the brain of a super-villain.

Of course, Superman, Batman, Captain America, and Thor have all died and come back before- so is that all we're seeing?

The writers and editors swear the change is permanent, but they're also the ones who magically annulled his marriage to Mary Jane, so consider the source!

You won't pull the mask over our eyes this time! LOLz!

Kirsten Dunst has had a long, eclectic career, but her biggest film role by far is the iconic comic book character Mary-Jane Watson in the Spider-Man trilogy.

But now that the series is being rebooted with a younger cast, relative newcomer Shailene Woodley is taking over the famously redheaded role.

So how does Kirsten feel about the Descendants star being cast as the newer model?

She couldn't be happier!

The sequel to The Amazing Spider-Man isn't just introducing Mary-Jane Watson; we'll also be getting our first look at Harry Osborn.

In the comics, Harry is Peter Parker's friend, rival, and villain, so whoever plays the role has to be equal amounts charming and sinister! Producers have narrowed the field to four actors.

One of those young men is Sam Claflin, who was recently cast as Finnick in the Hunger Games franchise. We're guessing he has slight edge for two reasons:
