Not only did Jason get a tweet from the First Lady, but he also got a phone call from President Obama! The Prez said he was 'impressed by his courage' and offered him his support in his big decision to go public! Now if only Obama would do something about the whole gay marriage thing…

Here's something you don't see everyday: someone sticking up for Matt Lauer!

Kathie Lee Gifford decided to show her support for her beleaguered Today show co-worker by writing a letter singing his praises, and she was able to get HUNDREDS of her fellow staffers to sign it!

Apparently, she originally planned to release the letter as an ad in USA Today, but for whatever reason it was decided that it should stay within the NBC family.

While the most of the message is being kept under wraps, a small portion was released that reads:

What a trooper!

Hugh Jackman was a recent victim of a stalking incident that included an electric razor and pubic hair. Yep. The actor was working out at Gotham Gym in New York City on Saturday when a woman threw the pube-filled razor directly at him!

But despite this all, Hugh has remained WONDERFUL. Always the biggest supporter of his fans, he showed his gratitude for his followers' kind words post-incident, tweeting:

The rivalry between NYC and Boston has always been fierce, and it's been around forever.

The best part about it, though, is that it doesn't mean anything at all in times of need! In fact, we begin to realize that the rivalry is more like that between siblings, not between enemies!

To highlight that, the Yankees have done something incredible — last night at their game they played Sweet Caroline in honor of their rivals in Boston to show them that they have the support and everything they could ever need from NY in a time of crisis.

Honestly, when we watched the video (above) and see all the Yankees fans singing along, we got chills!

Tragedies are awful and will always be awful, but we are always in the end inspired by the response of humanity!
