Sure, there are those folks out there that pee all over the place and don't clean it up, but do they really have to ruin it for the rest of us??

The Sormland County Council in Sweden, and the Left Party, are pushing for legislation that would designate “sit only” public restrooms — our question is, how will they enforce this?

Crazily, there are similar movements happening in Germany, France and Holland.

Weirder things have happened (NYC soda ban, anyone?), so who's to say that we aren't next?

They're not just campaigning under the idea that cleaning up pee is gross, but rather that it's more sanitary for men to begin with! They're also saying that urinating while sitting on a toilet so the bladder empties more effectively.

Here's what John Gamel, a professor at the University of Louisville, had to say about it in 2009:

“Men scatter urine not so much during the actual urination as during the ‘shaking off’ that follows. As a result, forcing men to sit while emptying their bladders will serve little purpose, since no man wants to shake himself off while remaining seated on the toilet.”

Ugh.

Just let'em continue to stand.

Besides, how is sitting on the dirty toilet more hygienic than standing anyway??

Now that's what we call walking the walk instead of just talking the talk!

Pippa Middleton is so serious about charity that she's willing to race across 56 miles of frozen tundra to raise money for hungry youngsters!

She'll be competing alongside her brother, James, in the 2012 Vasaloppet cross country skiing race in Sweden this Sunday, which is not only one of the LONGEST events of its kind in the world, it's the OLDEST!

Following a tradition started in 1922, Pippa and James will be sliding across snow and ice to benefit Magic Breakfast, a children's charity with a mission to feed the UK's poor children.

In preparation for the exhausting journey, both siblings were spotted training for the event this past weekend at a Switzerland ski resort. Click here for pics!

Lots of leeches.

Leave it to Sweden to reattach a woman's face after a vicious dog attack using about 400 leeches to help the process!

The severe wound spanned from her upper lip all the way to her eye. As she was rushed to hospital her relatives managed to keep hold of the torn off skin and keep it chilled. Doctors at Skane Hospital, in Malmo, southern Sweden, then reattached the flesh with the help of 358 leeches.

The leeches were used to get blood back into the torn off skin.

It was successful, but she'll need further reconstructive surgery down the road. For now, though, they've saved a lot of her face, including her whole nose, thanks to those little critters!

Amazing what nature and science can do together!

What the what?!

A man in Sweden decide to pick up a hobby. Nope, it wasn't cooking, but he did use a stove.

If you guessed that he was trying to split atoms and ended up with a "mini nuclear metldown," then you're correct and the government probably wants to talk to you.

We're glad nobody got hurt — but he was using radioactive material in his home!

We're so happy to report that Elin Nordegren, the ex-wife of Tiger Woods, has found another man!

She was seen kissing and hugging New York marketing executive (who also happens to be the son of a billionare investor) Jamie Dingman outside her apartment in Sweden.

The couple has been reportedly dating for months and a friend of Dingman's has said:

"He's never been so happy. He and Elin have strong feelings for each other. He's a classic all-American guy. He's handsome, a total gentleman and low-key. He's never been in the press. Elin's a very lucky girl; he's a great guy but very private."

Perhaps even more important than his billions of dollars and good looks, the source added, "He doesn't play golf."

Ha! Nice catch, gurl!

A study from the Nordic School of Public Health (NHV) in Sweden involving 6,000 participants may have debunked THE ONLY perceived health benefit of smoking. According to the results, smoking DOES NOT keep you thin!

After using two methods of measuring body fat, including BMI (body mass index) and WHR (waist hip ratio), the study found men and women smokers had a higher WHR then non-smokers. On the flip side, women smokers had a lower BMI.

Anyone citing smoking as a means of controlling weight should put down the cigarette, pick up an apple and go for a run!
