Three's company!

The Nordens Ark zoo in Sweden welcomed THREE brand new wolverine pups and they are adorable!

The pups were actually born on February 21st, but they depended solely on their mother for the first six weeks of their lives.

And it looks like their mother seemed to do a hell of a job because these wolverines looked fantastic!

True, we don't see wolverines every day, so we don't exactly have much to compare them with.

But they're so cute! Doesn't that count for anything???

Wolverines are actually considered pretty dangerous - they're known to take down prey that are sometimes three times as big as them.

But until these pups grow up - they'll be cute as pie to us!

A female zookeeper has passed away after she was attacked by wolves inside Sweden's largest zoo.

The 30 year old woman was alone inside the wolves' enclosure

A man in Sweden heard a commotion coming from his vacationing neighbor's backyard one night and, upon investigating, found a DRUNK moose stuck in a small tree!

Srsly.

Fire fighters eventually came and cut the moose out of the tree.

Apparently, around this time of year, apples fall from the trees, rot and begin to ferment. Then moose and elk eat them and get drunk. Moose party. Ah-may-zing.

The moose came out of the incident embarrassed but otherwise unharmed.

While, the film version of Marmaduke may not have been bearable for most human eyes, it may have a second chance at the box office for a different set of eyes.

The world's first movie theater for pets opened at Sweden's annual pet exhibition.

Fox Home Entertainment contacted the fair organizers with the idea and Pedigree sponsored 8 screenings with up to 20 dogs attending each show.

Project manager Gerd Linden commented about his excitement for the idea, saying:

"A cinema for dogs! This sounded like music to me. A movie with a dog as the principal actor at a pet exhibition? [How] could we do something else?"

While most of the dogs were focused on the free food given out by the dog food sponsor, Linden said, "At least they could be with their owners during the cinema and not be left at home."

Totally! Sounds like an awesome idea and we WISH we could take Teddy to the movies with us here. Too bad, he really likes foreign films, but hates reading the subtitles anyway.

Linden talked about the future of pet cinema optimistically, saying:

"We intend to continue this next year and also welcome other pets. We might have dogs, cats and snakes — though not in the same row."

Good idea.

Awww!

Parken Zoo welcomed Sweden's first baby giant anteater last month.

As soon as the baby was born, he crawled onto his mothers back where he will spend the next couple months camouflaged in his mothers fur for protection.

What an adorable creature!

Whatever happened to…prison?

Reconvilier, Switzerland, a town with a population of 2,245 people and 280 dogs, is threatening to KILL dogs if their owners do not pay the annual $50 tax!

We've never heard a sillier idea in our life!

Why hold the dog responsible for its owners mistakes?

Local official Pierre-Alain Nemitz says the move is part of an effort to reclaim hundreds of thousands of dollars in unpaid taxes, saying:

"This isn't about a mass execution of dogs, it's meant to put pressure on people who don't cooperate."

Here's an idea.

Punish the person not paying the tax, not the dog, who we'll take time to remind you, is incapable of paying the tax.

If imprisonment, increased fines, probation, or jury duty aren't options, maybe just take the dog away to a shelter where it can be adopted by a family who can pay this annual tax for dogs.

This is an unjust abuse of innocent animals by a government and we are APPALLED that they would kill a dog over $50!
