Glee Reality Show Has Been Canned

It seems Fox has scrapped plans for the American Idol-like Glee reality show!
In a smart move, creator Ryan Murphy did not want to be distracted from his #1 task at hand.
Not that it matters now but the idea for the show was for several unknown singers to compete for a new role on Glee by performing each week. Auditions were held via MySpace a few months ago, but a few lucky winners will still get to appear on the show.
Considering we have the Glee tour and the soundtracks, it’s not like we’re missing too much.
